I disagree with sitting back when you have a such a life lead. Why would you just let someone chip you. The whole match you was winning so just keep going in. I hate seeing those kind of comebacks in the first fight.

That Dan match almost made Mike say "God Damn it!" Almost.

Funny vid, as always. I have a couple comments though. What's up with Gooteck's recent obsession with in-game grades? While I think it does matter HOW you play, win or lose, we don't even know by what measures the game grades you, so what's the point? I'm sure most people know when they've played a relatively "neat" or "sloppy" match, as it is.

Also, I'm not a great player by any means, but Gootecks seems way too passive(like backdashing constantly with a slight life lead) but I feel like, in this game at least with the amount of damage characters can do with one opening, trying too hard to turtle is at least as dangerous as keeping up the pressure when you're in the life lead.

Best Moments of this episode:

1) Mike Ross getting exposed by that Dan player
2) The last match between Mike Ross and that Ibuki player and the ensuing message that followed.

I agree with Mike about Ibuki and Viper. I'd also add Fuerte to the list of vortex characters that turn Street Fighter 4 into Wakeup Guesser 4, but he's slightly less annoying because he doesn't have their obscene damage potential. Yun, Yang and Rufus can take a dump on you after a knockdown as well because of their ambiguous divekicks into big damage combos that knock you back down again. The Japanese used to have the common decency to soft ban characters like that (sup, Super Turbo Vega).

I'm pretty sure that Dan is Ultra David. lol

While the exchange was funny as hell, I'm still dumfounded by the Ibuki player. I don't think too many would call Ibuki an outright cheap character, but calling someone else cheap while using her? Really?

Can we start calling Mike Ross: Mike (Mago Killer) Ross?

I wonder how that MM will go with Mike Ross and Mago. That was a great match though at the Shadowloo. A lot of excellent players. Mike keeps downplaying Honda, but has been doing so well with him in the past 2 tourneys!

EVILDOERS! haha I read online how this kid was getting jacked, but he wouldnt break himself, so the dude tried to stabb him but ended up stabbing the TE Stick (MADCATS lol)in his backpack instead. Saved his life. GOOTECKS: good use of meter against GEN (for the chip)and for being safe. He didnt give you too many options.

I agree with Mike, Gootecks's obsession with meter management and grades is almost unhealthy, lol. I've never seen any top player talk as much about meter management as Gootecks does.

SEE..non believers what happens when u doubt the power of DAN!!!..lol i know personally that dan can kick some azz..i play wit him..and ive beaten so many great players..some advice..ALL CHARGE UP CHARACTERS EXCEPT GUILE AND BISON..can not stop dan once he gets in close..its over the moment he enters that hit box zone..and also Ryu, Akuma,and Gouken players should try they best to keep DAN back..cause he takes them out just as easy..Now KEN ..will eat Dan azz 4 Breakfast and then crap him out on his porch..lol..those who dont believe..try that tip out ur self..if ur any good at the game u'll rule..trust me;)

Dan wins are the best. Because it leaves such a lasting scar on a persons ego. You could beat someone 10x in a row with Yun and not piss them off as 1 win with Dan.

Gootecks is very vocal about meter management, but I think every good player has to be smart with it, they just don't necessarily talk about it so much. Keeping an eye on both your own and opponents meter bars is important, and you should be building meter constantly whenever it is safe to do so. Mike might say cocky stuff like "I don't even look at that bar" but if that were true, he wouldn't whiff full screen command grabs with Honda. All top players are constantly aware of meter.

Highlights for me on this episode:

1) Seeing that bull getting knocked down time and time again from Viper's Seismic Hammer.
2) Dan taking out Mike Ross; lol Mike had to HOLD DAT!
3) The salty message at the end, as well as the snazzy reply. Classy, haha.

That bull....LMAO

This was very entertaining! I loved the verbal going back and forth about meter and the grades, was laughing out loud with them about the poor bull (which was made funnier by Gootecks who was unable to stop laughing) and the match against Dan, ending with Dan's quote about underestimating him -after Mike dismissed the Dan player straightaway-, was hilarious!

Gootecks, just to make sure Mike won't convince you: Rose matches are fun to watch. I'm sure it's largely preference, but I enjoy watching Rose fights more than most other characters, Balrog definitely included!

Viper isn't quite as 5/5 as Ibuki because her combos don't lead back to the same thing as well.
