@1
you know someone will eventually post that youre whining and you need to get better to avoid DHC glitches. Its like fighting a guy with a gun and all you have if a napkin: with enough skill you can take him out without getting shot, because i can!!!
but in all seriousness i stopped playing the game because i lose all of my characters in 3 combo sets....
@1 I really like this game, but as "noob-friendly" as it is, I swear it seems like I was being infinite comboed by some jackass using Haggar. MVC2 was notorious for infinites. Am I imagining that 3 has them all over the place? Wouldn't surprise me. Love their games, but I doubt Capcom's QA teams are breaking any records trying to be thorough.
Kinda off topic, but... Why do we only have costumes for a tenth of the cast? (Not exact, but close.) Did they just give up or something on this?
@5: Well they found placeholder data for costumes for Doom and a few others I can't remember. It was a second set of six, I remember that.
@4: If there's any other infinites in the game besides the Cap Am or Akuma one (Tron's drill infinite may still be in, my PS3's been broken so I can't test it), they're not prevalent in tournaments or anything like that. I guess in a way, the DHC glitch in MVC3 is an analogue to infinites in 2, both being relatively easy to do and a guaranteed character kill. At least the DHC glitch costs you 2-3 meter
Pretty cool. I wonder if Capcom will ever fix or just tone down the DHC glitch? I know the VS series is pretty much all about the cheap stuff, but does anyone other than me feel like a character kill combo should be a little more difficult than basic combo > DHC glitch > basic combo?
