• Wes said there's a lot of interoperability between the Vita and PS3 versions, adding that it's similar to what Sony is doing with Wipeout. That game features cross platform play, and it's likely that's what he was referring to, given the amount of hints that Yoshinori Ono has dropped on this subject as well.
• He mentioned he doesn't see a difference right now between the PS3 and Vita versions, from a graphics perspective.
• Most of the team working on SFxT is the team that worked on SF4.
• Characters can do a tech roll by holding back or forward, like MvC3, after a knock down.
• Wes stated that the game will be out before December 21, 2012. If Capcom's financial report holds up though, the title is supposed to be out before April 2012.

MugenLord
when you look at Sony exclusive characters list
Cole fits, He's got a "fireball", he's unusually tough and got a unique fighting style and in fact is basically a street fighter(making him the second character ever playable in a street fighter based game to use street fighting)
Exclusives are only in to get the game sold and more popular. I don't think they really matter when playing the game. When it comes to exclusive characters, they will most likely be banned at tournaments because someone who practices on 360 won't know how to play against Cole. I don't really care who gets in on the 360 edition, and honestly, I can't think of anyone good enough to be there. Cole Train from GoW? Probably not. Alan Wake? What can he do? Write about fighting you and narrate the battle in his head?
It was so hype when they first announced this game. But I care less about it everyday now. Guest characters, easy juggle combos, too many colors in the life bar and last but nog least, building meter by spamming normals from full screen distance. What the **** are they thinking??
So Wes say that the game will be released before 12/21/12 and the title to be out April 2010? Darn it, this is taking way too long... wait, the longer we wait, the bigger the roster would be.
Whoops I meant to say that the title would be out April 2012. My mistake, Can this need an edit comment feature?

Lili x Karin for SFxT!! <3
I made an exception to the reveals. How about an 8 character reveal?
Tekken: Lili, Asuka, Steve, and the one who fights like Johnny Cage
Street Fighter: Dhalsim, Sakura, Karin, and the one who fights like Cyrax
@ Ex_Ein
Yes I know, but the basics are here already. Do you think it's gonna change very much in the next months. I doubt it will.
I know that juggle system is from Tekken, but this is the Capcom version, who wants to juggle can wait for the Namco version.
@ Nago
Is that so strange? Have you seen the first trailer?
I was expecting a game like SF with the Tekken characters included. Difficult 1 frame link combos and everything else that I like about SF. Even if I don't have the skills to do compete at high level, i love SF and i enjoy to play the game and watch good players go at it.
I'm afraid that this game is easy mode, noob friendly.
Look at it, A, B, C, Launch, A, B, C, Launch... Sounds not very exciting or difficult. I hope I'm wrong and it changes in the following months.
@21 Not expecting juggles from a game with Tekken characters in it eh? You're a regular genius
@SAMURAI
Nah, I can see where you're coming from now.
It seems like the overall SF theory is still there but the combos are a little more flashy and accessible. Easier combos doesn't mean the game is automatically ruined but there's a fine line between "more accessible" and "dumbed down and boring".
Since the ones who can fight like Johnny Cage and Cyrax revealed, I'm going to use their juggle combos from the Kombat Kontinues trailer from Mortal Kombat the old fashioned way. What do you say guys?
I am excited about this game. But I was the first one to say that this is not SFxT, but.... "Some New Game X Tekken"
While it seems the Tekken "bread and butter" have come to the table, the SF way of life has been sacrificed in favor of a MvsC3/TTT game engine.
That's why I laughed so hard when Mike Ross said "Best SF he's played!", I almost $hit my pants!
Now, I'm no hater. I'm buying this Day 1. But from everything I've seen you can call this game:
1) MvsC3
2)Tekken Tag
3) Project Justice
But don't call it SF. Just having them show up isn't enough.
So people are like don't worry you will be able to play SFxT before you die in 2012 world destruction. Seriously.... what's the world coming to?
Wes Philips got his hands on 2 OPs already. Sagat, the OP from SF4 and Bob, the OP from Tekken. Sorry, but I consider you more like a fed than skilled player.
@ultrapowerlevel What's the world coming to when people call characters OP before a game is out or in its final version.
@33
Yeah, I agree with that. But Capcom is bending over backwards to make sure that Tekken characters play like "Tekken Characters!"
Even saying that all of/most of their 4 button combos will still work. But I have to do lightining legs with a Hadoken?
Ultras by pushing 3 buttons with a regular command? Charge projectiles for EX?
I know some tweaks would be warranted so that the two universes could mesh. And I totally get the 4 button Tekken combos, but I'm not seeing the SF portion?!?
SF is more than having the ability to throw a projectile. The Meat from our combo system seems to have vanished in favor of a streamlined system used by Tekken and SF characters alike.
Yet they still have all of their 4 button chains and juggles?
Lol, let's hope Namco breaks their backs like this to give SF an obvious advantage in their version.
I guess I'm just protective of SF. I'm not a fan of the easy mode A B C C Launcher Repeat combo system. But beyond that the game looks cool. And I can't wait to see the full roster.
Like I said before... It's still a day 1 for me

And ? Isnt that how they've always handled crossovers , aside from maybe Capcom vs snk ? And even for that game inputs and stuff werent exactly kosher sf and kof mechanics , but a huge compromise .
Simplified gameplay and buttons schemes , with maybe or not some depth at its core ?
The way some of you guys complain , MVC2 wouldnt have been good enough neither , if being released in 2011 .
Dont worry , wasnt particularly aiming at you , but the volume of dissent ...
Personally i have no particular expectations , beyond of course a great game .
It's a crossover featuring sf chars , not a street fighter game .
You'll probably see some enough enough sf bones , but right now they most likely show what would usually intrigue or worry many people : tekken chars in a 2d fighters
My buddy who works at gamestop just got a release date of March 2nd 2012 in their computer system.
Not sure how accurate that is but it's a start.
This whole thread is looking alot like MvC3 before it was released.
Let the game go gold before you beat the ever-loving snot outta it.
Sheesh, you guys should be anticipating which characters make it in rather than cry about mechanics you never used before.
What's worse? A sh*tty roster or ABC inputs? The latter can be overlooked.
All I have to say is the same thing I said when MvsC3 was about to drop: No Dictator, No Purchase. Seriously Capcom, if Dic is not in this game, I won't be playing it. It would be like a Mario VS Sonic crossover without Bowser. Which would be completely lame.
Also. When Capcom is finished slave driving their staff to get SF X TK finished earlier than originally planned, maybe they can fix the glitch-filled, unbalanced, half-assed, rushed SSF4 AE they just sold everyone. Real rival match scenes and dialog, trials, and as fan service a free character or two.
To thos complaining about the idea of every character having ABCD target combos, why not? Why should Ibuki, Guy, Yun and a few others get a plethora of easy ass target combos and most of the roster not have one? Plenty of people complained about one-frame links, now they do something about that and people still complain.
As long as SF X TK is not half-Assed and includes Dic I'll be happy.
Definitly the kind of game to get competetive at, but its also a fun game to play with your family or friends with, especially with the easier control method.
But still no chance in hell will they be able to beat me if i really tried because they dont have footsies lol.
I just hope they have a huge roster...
I dont really care to much for the Cross play with PS3 and Vita and this Infamous Character is just a waste, leave the exclusives out of this.
