As much as I love a good troll, I kinda despised this video. It pretty much sums up all honda players online. You can pretty much add every Ken, gief, and thawk player along with the online shenanigan.
Well there's a few that actually play there characters but I think it goes without saying 90% of the players are pretty much like the guy above.
Is this supposed to be all that funny? It's not even like he trolls with just one move, he mixes it up. Granted, some of the matches were pure spam, but mostly it just seems like some guy chilling out and having some lols online, rather than trolling for entertainment. But honestly, I kinda feel it just goes to show how retarded that move is.
Every guy that say that this is tactic or its ok to play Honda like this is very dumb ...if this guy would play in tournaments like this ..he would never win... personally i like players how have style ...and not throwing everyday headbutts its really *********

all i have to say is... how dare capcom allow this tomfoolery to continue after "balancing" the game more... which involved nerfing vega? vega gets a rough nerf on his best normal, that does no damage onblock, and this s*** which does damageon block is virtually untouchhed(if not actually untouched).

If you hate what he's doing to other players online, and if you think this guy is a douchebag for HOW he plays, it's all a matter of opinion, as well as perspective. MOST people who play these games ARE douchebags to SOME degree or another, even if they exchange a "gg" or a gentlemanly handshake afterwards, under the guise of good sportsmanship. he didn't write any of these people, saying they suck for falling for the crossup "Flying Butt Plash" (Ren & Stimpy reference), as far as we know. Then again, maybe he cut that part out of the video. The so-called "hate mail" he showed us at the end, weren't ALL made with hate, AND you've got to keep in mind that while the online fighting for the SF4 series is mostly decent, it is NOT perfect, by far. Sometimes, some players have got to do what they can, to improvise, when they encounter lag, in some fights.
These fights don't look laggy, but it's HIS playstyle, regardless. When I can't combo online, or even if I'm off my game, playing offline, I go to the basics. Sometimes, my play style can LOOK pretty douchebaggy, but if my opponents cannot learn from their mistakes against me, and ADAPT, that's all on them. Sure, he looks like he's trolling here, but so what?
Some may not like this style of play, but I think it's funny. "Shenanigans" isn't "Cheers" - Not everyone cares to know your name. XD
Fighting such people can be a pain in the butt, but the game gives us plenty of tools to counter whatever is thrown at us, to some extent. Play the cards you're dealt, and if the cards suck when you play certain characters, try other characters instead.
Sometimes, to beat a douchebaggy player, you've got to think like one.
You could always practice getting into such a mindset by taking a dump in a restaurant restroom and NOT flushing it, or even "upper decking" the toilet, for that matter. You could pour motor oil all over the tires of a handicapped person's wheelchair, so that their hands slip, trying to move about. You could even find a single-doored beer cooler at your local gas station and leave a long-winded, post-Taco-Bell fart into that airtight environment for the next person who comes along, wanting a Bud Lite.

Birdie, you still havent learned to shorten your huge persuasive essays. i usually end up skipping through your posts just because of how long they normally are.
You can just focus the second hit of the the butt smash it's so slow or you can just OS when blocking the second hit, short into OS DP or whatever your character options are. Though it is funny how he trained his opponents by using butt smash repeatedly.

No I won't win a tournament by doing this. But I won't win a tournament when playing a style that is accepted by people like you either.

Not when the other player is in wake-up. You have to block it the first 2 hits when your not a Sagat or Yun. In other situations depending on your position you can just dash under or backwards.
The only reason I'm remotely upset is because this crap would never work offline. It's way too easy to punish and the people who generally use Honda have like the worst connections I've ever played on. I wonder do they just run torrents on their side on purpose just so it'll lag so hard that their butt slams are free damage that's unpunishable.
Maybe it's just me being salty for losing PP to extremely terrible players that do this kinda of crap, but I lost respect for anyone who plays these characters online.

Ken player = Random Hurricane kicks, Spam shoryuken
Gief = tick spd, random spd, random st.hk, palm, random lariat
THawk = Condor Dive, Mexican Typhoon, condor spire
Vega = Vortex after every knockdown
I played against Gens n Roses several times. I don't mind, because Honda is just designed to be like that.
bendermac however can't accept loss. After several matches of losing, he turns his full green bar to 1 or 2 bar and taunts to troll. I kept ignoring his trolls for almost a year and he kept sending hate messages such as "how did you like that?" or "am I making you angry?" after he's lagging on purpose and taunting using Blanka. I kept ignoring it for almost a year. At one time, I was fed up with his trolls and hate messages and replied a message. He immediately posted my message on YouTube and played the innocent victim.

amazng!! i saw a lot of guys doing that, in fsct i pretty easy to counter that.
only needs a little bit of patient and some focus attacks, not a big deal, and normally after they realize that the spamming is not gonna work, the go to the corner and wait to be killed

@38... vega vortex? are you referring to flying barcelona or the corpse hop game? regardless, these are like the very few tools ths character has to work with, especially considering how retard his lack of priority is on just about every attack he has - he even gets outpoked easily when it comes to priority.
i can understand the the other people mentioned. though the ken stuff only really gets annoying when he's also grabbing.
geifs and hawks are major pains mainly because the ridicuous command grab range and damage (espif using vega -_-)
at the end of the day, it's just that some characters are designed in certain ways, and some lack options that others have. the most annoying thing in SSF4 nd it's variants though, is grab happy people with srk motion invincible moves. grab happy ken, ryu, and akuma are among the most annoying opponents because they have so much going in their favor already, and they can easily put you in a literally 50-50 kind of, depending on the character you're using.
That's exactly how I play UNTIL the opponent shows me that he can deal with all this spam/shenanigans... Then, I rethink my strategy... :P
It is amazing how much people get beaten by a couple of buttslams after a knockdown. \o/
And, by the way, if you are losing to things like this YOU are the one that have to change the strategy. Do not blame the other player.
My biggest problem with players who play like this, is the fact that it's boring to play against them. But in that sense it's no different from fighting Guiles who are rooted to the ground or Shotos abusing fireballs and dragon punches. The problem is online so many people are playing strictly for the win rather than for the fun of it. It's not a case of Capcom needing to alter certain characters etc.
