AlexxShadenk777 also did an Akuma playthrough back in March, which didn't get a lot of face time, but you can check that out by hitting the jump.
@Shogun. I haven;t played it the first time around either, but from the looks of it, no one. all the characters have different properties and some of the more better known fighters, like how Remy is kinda like Guile. But, Overall, I don;t think there is a character like bison, that can use their whole body as a hit box. Maybe Q, because he is a heavy rushdown and mix-up character.
@ Shogan. The closest is Urien with his chariot tackles. You can use them for pressure like Bison kicks. They're charge too.
Gonna throw this out there:
How does a TAS, which does even have practical 3s strategies get it's own article so easily when something like Onii.Musa's awesome 3s compilation which had actual gameplay of 3s barely get on the roundup?
@ShaftyCakes: I wondered that as well. TA videos should have a different treatment indeed.
@SHOGUN
The closest thing to bison in this game is Urien. Both are good at having long range footsies normals, good at pressuring with charge specials(scissor kicks, chariot tackle), both have their aerial flying move(bison stomp, urien knee press) and both like to grab alot while pressuring. Both having good mobility.
Granted they are different characters as a whole, that is as close as you are gonna get due to the way 3s play.
Also the other alternative is Alex, he also have quite a few long range normals, good throw game, pressure with his elbow slash, and the thing i like most about bison is STOMPING on people...literally. Alex ex stomp goes full screen pretty quick.
@TehTY
Urien, twelve, alex, Q all are basically moving hitboxes
@2 Alex is a reasonably good analogue to bison or at least a semi-rushdown tick throw monster, but he doesn't really have the mobility to pressure too well. Yang is probably the most pressuring character in the game (or makoto?) and he has a command grab which makes his ticks very dangerous. I don't think urien's that similar in gameplay to bison, though his inputs are similar. Oro has a bunch of bison-normals but that's kind of where the similarities end. Go experiment.
@#8 Carnoustie
Main things that make bison, BISON... is his speed, mobility, good pokes which lead to him being able to pressure effectively. Urien share basically the same traits but in a different fashion. Also both can do some nasty damage off of simple things. Good amount of health.
Yang is more upclose pressure, and his footsies in 3s is mediocre. Makoto is more around setting up people for brutal damage of them guessing incorrectly. Oro is a bit slow and less mobile. They all dont match up too well to how bison operates.
@Relikk: Shut up about the aspect ratio. It's not gonna stop me from rendering them this way. Plus, it looks fine for 99,9999999% of the world's population so either deal with it or go away.
A vid of a tool-assisted computer perfecting every cpu opponent is boring!
What criticism? Your opinion is stupid and no matter how hard you cry about ir as legendarily as you do, it's not gonna change anything. Grow up.
Criticism as in deleting comments from your videos that suggest using 4:3 so it doesn't look stretched and disproportionate to players of the game who are used to the correct aspect ratio. It's also misrepresentative to people who want to learn spacing etc.
My opinion is stupid? You won't get very far in life with that attitude. You could always ignore it. I also seem to remember someone telling you to grow up on one of your videos, especially since you respond in a childish manner and block people for suggestions that seem to hurt your evidently fragile ego in some weird way. Swings and roundabouts, pot, kettle, black and all that.
Hypocrite.
I kind of missed the boat on 3S the first time around. Who would be the equivalent to Bison in this game?
