Any word yet on whether the disc version will contain any extras?
Lol I'mma play devil's advocate, Daigo will win and everyone will be Morton's.
Tokido has said that Daigo is better at MvC3 than he is. And we saw what Tokido did this weekend.
@9 - No, he didn't. At first he said he [Tokido] might not be the best, but after winning CEO, he thinks he is the best in Japan.

I'll probably email this to Cat as well,
BUT ...
At around 4:25 Gootecks confirms that stages will be unlocked via achievements in 3S despite prior de-confirmation that stages from previous games will be in Online edition.
This seems like a pretty big deal for 3S fans and III fans in general.
I'm not sure if Daigo, Tokido, or even Mago could win, but I'm sure they will be in top 5 or 8. But I'm sure too that the things will be different at Evo 2011.
This game sometimes is unpredictable I noticed JWong too nervous, specially in the 2nd set, he had good beginnings with Wolverine, but some matches Tokido comebacked with Phoenix, after some matches Tokido had more good beginnings with Wolverine, what I saw is JWong's team is not anti-Phoenix, Tokido's Phoenix was key in the first set, but in the second set Tokido's Wolverine was definitively the key. Maybe JWong in the first set was upset because the Tokido's comebacks with Phoenix.
I'm not American but I'm sure that in Evo will be more surprises, actually, I would like that Viscant wins, I believe in him. He has two good chars, Phenix and Wesker. Everyone knows that the team is the key, example, Tokido's team vs JWong's team.
There is time to master new teams. I'm very exited for Evo, who doesn't. Choose a top tier team, and you will win.
Good luck at Evo.
@9 & 12, not sure how either of them can claim to be the best in Japan, as a console release they only have online to gauge their abilities, and leaderboards online aren't exactly the most accurate thing. In addition it's not like Japan regularly runs MvC3 tournaments.
They only have to go on the fact that they are the only Japanese players who compete with the best in the US. I just feel like there are a handful of people in Japan with great MvC3 skills but no way to showcase them due to lack of an arcade version and the either the lack of ability or willingness to travel overseas.
It's like if I traveled to Evo from say, Kazakhstan and placed decently, declaring myself "The best in Kazackstan" just because I got out of pools and was the only entrant from that area.
@11 well aperantly you don't know how mvc2 & mvc3 (really tvc1.5) are so beyond different it's not even funny tell Daigo to play mvc2 and watch him get bodied there's a reason he avoided that game as compared to easy mode mvc3
its the d*mn same game ,a bouton for launcher and infinite combos in the air and tag play,i mean do you expect them to copy all the system of mvc2?
He seen Tokido take CEO so he wants that free money, they practically handed him the check as soon as he walked in revla
I dont have much faith in the American mvc3 players as of late. Looked like they was on shaky ground against tokidos adaptive playstyle.
Tokido unlike Viscant isnt afraid to burn Xfactor and meter which looked to throw off justin alot. We all noticed how weak his ammy and tron looked so all tokido had to do was gib wolvy first chance he gets and just would basically have no way of coming back really.
Where as with most phoenix teams it takes the lead character about 2-4 solid combos to kill a character, which gives the opponent time to plan and attempt to formulate a strategy for the situation at hand. were as tokido realized that taking out the other better character asap could lead to building more meter in the long run due to the main threat being gone.
Granted next time they face off they should know that tokido is willing to use his resources early and not just save it all for phoenix and be ready for the unorthodox style he presented.
Hopefully Daigo shows what he knows at NCR so it would prevent any one time nasty surprises at EVO that throws off everyone. While Daigo doesnt have to be necessarily good all he has to do is win EVO to make everyone salty even if he doesnt win another lesser scaled tournament that trails after evo season is over. Cause everyone will remember EVO, all the other tournaments not so much.
All else aside would be a great moment if some random european comes out the woodworks and wins. It would be a complete heartbreaking moment for USA.
@12:
I didn't play MvC 2, so no, I don't know how different it is. That being said, the games are still the same type (fighting). There's nothing wrong with anyone comparing them. You act like I'm comparing Resident Evil to Need for Speed or something silly like that. lol
And it doesn't matter WHAT game it is. The japs come and dominate. They have a continual refinement process and it shows in everything, they learn the intricacy of the systems. The Japanese are the best in SF4, just like they were in 3rd Strike. Are you going to say 3rd Strike was easy mode too? It is what it is.
daigo is a king of men
