Oh jeez. Yun looking sick as ever :-(
Don't think anyone has unlocked the potential of Oni yet. I'm excited to see that.
These are not tool assisted right? They're real.
Does Desk compete? Because I get the impression if you let him in twice you're dead lol :-D
By the way, Desk, you are immensely talented to be able to do this stuff in a day. Most decent combos take me weeks!
One other thing, to Capcom, can we please have our air tatsu's back?
Signed "the shotos" ;-)
I personally actually use them for attacking, not running away. That nerf was a BIG one. I didn't realise it was as bad as it is.
@4: I also work really fast, the most time I've put into one combo is 10-12h (From idea, to optimalization, to recorded). However, I do not have the execution to do the stuff desk is doing, and the fact that he's doing it in VS just makes my jaw drop. I'm curious to see what he's got for E.Ryu and Oni, as they work completely different from Yun/Yang.
@11 You're not seeing the full picture here. Run-away tatsu made it too easy for shotos to get out of the corner, especially in some match-ups. It was also ridiculously hard to punish unless predicted. Except for when used for getting in, which makes it very punishable. You're not supposed to get out of the corner for free you know... unless your name is Akuma or Evil Ryu, apparently.
Run away tatsu has different timing than an air attack. I used to use it to get in on Dhalsim from distance. I thought they had removed the runaway tatsu (i.e. the floaty early input). I was fine with that, but taking away the opportunity to attack is a really big nerf.
#7 Doopliss That's great man. Have you found it gets easier over time? Any advice for learning and executing combos quicker. My job means I don't have a lot of time.
This is so cool.. This is what i needed.
I am on the xbox now trying at least some combos desk made..
we just got the dlc and hes messing around
with some awesome new combos.
Men this guys talented.
One question: What's the reason for doing those combos on VS instead of training mode?
@15: I guess it get's easier when you learn more about what dummy character is good for what, properties of different moves etc. One thing that always make you more time-efficient is to learn basic frame data for your character. What links into what, which moves can juggle, which can be FADC'd to continue a combo, what can be cancelled into what etc. When it comes to execution, the only thing you can do other than practice is to learn the ins and outs of the input system, how shortcuts work, negative edge, plinking, kara, input priority, input lenience, cancels etc. After that, it's just about imagination and luck, to find something interesting.
so news just in. Ono is bringing back an old favourite to counter yun:

;-)
I still have no idea how these versions made it into so many arcades around the world!
this has nothing to do with the video but does anyone know what those little trophies mean next to the bp and pp when your playing online
Those numbers next to the trophies show your current world ranking. Better idea of your opponents skill I guess
