Seth Killian chats up Street Fighter X Tekken with IGN, Jin confirmed?

Seth ran through a Street Fighter X Tekken play session with IGN at E3. This covers a good amount of stuff you've heard before, but Seth offers some other details on the gameplay, which is nice.

At the 3:24 mark, it sounds like Seth confirms that Jin is in the game, saying how he Kazuyu and Nina can also use the 4 button play style.

Topics also include how the title came about, that the Tekken guys have great in your face pressure, but don't do so well from all the way across the screen, supers don't use double motions now, you just use 3x Punches or Kicks, etc.

It's nearly an 8 minute piece, but it's a good one if you don't mind sitting through some redundant information.

Dan was shown in one of the SFxT trailers when the game was first announced, but Ono still disconfirmed him.

So since Ganryu's ending is the canon ending in Tekken 6, I guess that makes him the main character? Why hasn't he been revealed yet? And you obv dont have eyes, Kazuya is against Ryu in all of the artwork for this game. I guess Ryu isn't the main character in Street Fighter?

Kazuya was originally the main character in Tekken 1 and 2. Jin Kazama is the CURRENT main character in Tekken 3 and onwards.

i don't understand why so many people doubt wether jin is going to be in sfxt or not. ever since tekken 3 he was the main character and kazuya's role developed into being somewhat of an antagonist.

Jin is conrirmed means that Jin will be revealed. I heard that the game will have a gigantic roster, we don't know what's the final version looks like, but we'll wait and see. Man, this is a long time.

I hope they add some of the SF characters that didnt make the cut in SSF4, and not just go the lazy route and transfer all of the existing ones into this game. I'm PRAYING for Elena first before anyone tho'. Just hope they don't waste a Tekken slot adding another capoeira fighter if Elena makes it in.

Far as the Tekken side goes, (aside from the goofball characters like some animal or possessed object) I can care less who they add after seeing them in them Capcom style. They all look amazing so far.

Man I'm really afraid they are gonna make this game way to beginner friendly (/The supers thing). Believe it or not it took me a whileee before I mastered a few combos and I even had trouble doing some ultra's in the beginning. Now you have a piss easy damaging chain combo, and easy to execute specials/supers.

But this sounds sweet, can't wait none the less, just worried. Also yea ''Wow Jin is in this game??!''

@14, read my previous comment properly. i said jin is the "main protagonist", in other words the hero of tekken. kazuya is one of the main characters, not "the" main character and he's most certainly not the the protagonist anymore. think of it like this, jin is like the ryu of tekken and kazuya is like the akuma.

yeah, tthat confirms him, but it should have been obvious already. in the trailer, kazuya talks to jin through that defeated soldier's recording. not tomention that hwoarang is in the game... hecan't be in it without Jin being it too.

But since Jin's arrival into the Tekken universe, he's been a large part of it. Not having Jin in the Tekken cast would be like not including Ryu.
