Can't seem to find the trials for the 4 new characters. Anybody have the same problem?
PS3 is my main platform, but I gotta love LIVE for their fast job, and the fact that they release all the DLC at the same time worldwide, while EU PSN users have to wait another day.
Oh well, I'll just play on 360 until it's available.

It had already been said there would be no trials for the new characters, I guess it's time to go in the lab to get familiar with them. I can only download after I come home from work, which is 5 hours away... but I got something to look forward to, awesome!

Remember to DL the SSFIV Update pack FIRST. Otherwise, you will get a message saying your DLC is corrupted. And the mandatory DL as well, just for that matter.
Doing them out of order won't work. I was syced for AE finally and I missed the Update right below the DLC. Don't miss it!!!
@33 I didn't have any corruption issues and all I did was download AE without the update pack. This was on XBL though, not sure if it's that or PSN you're talking about.

I found out my problem and it's worse than I feared. I have the Games On-Demand version. And it's not fffffff!!!! Compatible with DLC!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT???????????!!!!!!! How did this happen!!!!
The worst part is that my GF accidently scratched the game yesterday. So, I thought, like an idiot, I want to get AE right away, so I'lll download the downloadable version now, so I can play in the morning. $30 for nothing! Seriously?!

If you get an error saying your DLC is corrupted then you simply need to re-download it, because it didn't download properly the first time around. That error is not exclusive to this game, as it can happen to any game on the 360.
The update kit is only for those not actually getting AE.
AE isn't compatible with the on demand version.
Hurry up and update, PSN!

It seems that there are some "compatibility issues" with the AE DLC and the on demand version of SSFIV. Some have suggested restarting your XBOX 360, but I'm not sure if that solves anything. I doubt it, see this post from Shoryuken.com:
"It doesn’t work with the downloaded on demand version from XBL. It says data is corrupt. RAGE"

Funny that, in all those "AE's so great! Questions anybody!?" sessions with Sven and Seth, they completely forgot to mention, "Oh yeah, 20 percent of you won't be able to download AE. Sorry!" Nope, we got nothing and nobody asked because, why would it matter. For F's sake, I downloaded it because it had Evil Ryu on the DLC page. IT's ADVERTISING IT'S COMPATIBLE SO WHY WOULD I THINK OTHERWISE???

What I wanna know is how the hell can they make the costumes work on the on demand version but not an expansion. I mean really... I just bought the damn thing thinking it was all gonna be perfect turns out it once I download it that mssg poped up and said it was corrupted. Wth dude if it wasent compatible with dlc the costumes wouldent work in the first place or what? Am I missing something here?

Im on xbox, and the numbers change as I win and lose matches, mostly win, because makoto is a beast (I didn't bandwagon her for her buffs, I already played her)
I really dont understand the logic of capcom thinking. I dont want to jump the gun by going off on them yet. Iam going to give them the benefit of doubt and say that they forgot about the people that downloaded the game from the xbox on demand marketplace. If that is the case, it needs to be fixed asap. Im finding it hard to believe capcom would try some sneaky stuff by only making this compatible on disc. if that is so, then 1. Capcom knew all along that they were out coming arcade edition dlc, 2. they only they made the dlc compatible for the disc. And 3. people would eventually have to buy the disc again EVEN THOUGH they made the game available on the marketplace. I dont think nobody at capcom are stupid so here is what i am thinking what happened. they either made a mistake (forgot to run test on the on demand version of ssf4 to see if it is compatible with the new dlc) or, they purposely did it to get the on demand owners to buy another disc. these are my only two theories i can come up with.
I can't believe Capcom didn't check compatibility with the on demand game. I feel like I just waisted $15.00 on an update that I can't use. This really sucks. My friends are all playing and I can't even get on. I refuse to buy the hard copy of the game now and I can't wait until the 28th. I hope Capcom comes with a patch fix or something. That is all.

Is it usual not being able to create/manage PSN accounts on Tuesdays (considering this aforementioned PS Store Tuesday update)? I'm asking that because I've bought my PS3 a few days prior to the outage, and since my arcade stick wasn't/isn't functional yet, I just spent this recent time playing borrowed offline games.
Now that my arcade parts are about to arrive and AE is about to be released, damn, I just can't create my PSN account. How can I be so lucky? I wonder if I'll ever be able to enjoy PSN/AE. ;(

Yeah, it should be a dandy. The Heat get leads early and then watch them whittle away as the game comes to an end. I expect more of the same.

I want to play AE! And I don't know if I should run out to the store today? I know it's only like 9 am, but I took the day off and this wait for Capcom's admittance feels like an eternity.

I don't blame you for not reading my earlier posts but Games-on-Demand doesn't support AE. I don't know whether to wait or go to the store TO BUY SUPER. I know AE isn't out and I don't need the disc. I just want to play NOW.

I am in the same boat as the people that have the on demand version. Eager to play it I began to download it and while it was downloading I came on eventhubs to check news only to find this :~( I have been looking around and from what I can tell the on demand version is missing the AE update. I'm about to head to gamestop, buy the disc preowned and return it...

Ugh... out of 20 or so fights, about 60% were Evil Ryu. Also, 2 Onis, 2 Kens, and 2 normal Ryus. I didn't even see Yun.

The people who operate PSN really need to take their heads out of their rear ends and stop this ridiculous policy of updating stores on certain days and not when the content should be available. Is their stupid system really that unnecessarily difficult to add items to? Very poor.

Hey I was playing AE and wondering where the rest of the titles are, all I see are the titles for oni, yun, yang, and evil ryu. The footage I saw for the arcade cabinet had alot of new titles.
for those saying it will be available in the states at 8pm if thats true (fingers crossed) for those in the uk just make a new account on your ps3 with an american address ( just google one ) and you have access to the american store, ive done it before when d/ling demos like deadspace 2 which came out a week earlier in the states

Yoooooooo hello Capcom!!!!! Wake up and fix my stuff man!!!! I paid for the game just like the people who went out to buy ssfiv. I paid my money already.
I do honestly feel bad for the poor folks that wasted 15 bucks and cant play their desired content yet.
But as far as Capcom goes, I have no remorse at all. This DLC from the beginning just seemed like a waste of money and they knew it.
I really do hope they feel a burn from the unfortunate fans on this one and they actually FEEL IT this time. They've been so focused on raping everyones wallets with infinite "editions" to their games, DLC and trolling to even check if their products are fully functional or better than their predecessors. Thats just BEYOND sad. Hopefully they will redeem themselves with SFxT, but at the rate they are goin', it may take a miracle.
P.S. = This just makes the Klassic Skins DLC for MK9 owners look all the sweeter dont it lol.
theMASman you're an idiot. The reason it doesnt work for some people is because they bought a version of SSFIV that is not for this region. If they had just bought the right copy from the beginning they would be fine. Also if you think that you shouldn't have to pay for a DLC, you're even more of an idiot. You know that people get PAID to make video games and this content? How do you suppose they get paid? Free DLCs?

Not to be a d@$% but the reason our game doesn't work is because the version for sale on XBOXLIVE doesn't allow up to update to AE. Also, yes, some people do have other regions though.

I am still pissed about this bulls--- for people who downloaded the game from the xbl on demand library. How the f--- could you forget something like? Lets get pass the fact that its a below average dlc (it really is. One reason is the lack of trails. I and many others loved the challenge of completing those trails. Big f---ing fail capcom) Just completely forgetting those who brought the on demand version is a smack in the face. Amongst all the developers, testers and higher ups nobody thought to ask will it work on the on demand version. This is definately a lack of professional on your end capcom. capcom.... seriously does anyone know when the patch will come out to the fix the problem with games on demand? I was okay staying up till 3am and having it delayed. I was okay with no trials or rival cut scene. I was okay with 2 clones out of four total new characters. I was okay with the redicculous nerfs to my main. But paying 15$ for corrupt f*&^%$# data is.....
