Keeping the new content pouring in, Capcom also released new high resolution artwork for Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition, along with a shot of the new logo.

Before ANYONE starts attacking MC_Los, he has his own opinion, however wrong it may be to one another. I think these look amazing, with all the drawings matching the style of the game.

I think it's cool that Q resembles a -Q-uestion mark?

This artwork looks awesome, but I can't shake the fan-art feeling. Why couldn't the in-house artists do them? I'd give an arm and a leg for Kinu Nishimura redoing the 3S portraits (is she even with capcom still?)

#13 That is the one thing I did not like when I saw the cover. sf3 characters got shafted on the cover of their own game smh. All of the artwork looks nice though. I wonder if this is the art from that contest capcom was doing.

Capcom America, realizing that their main demographic is hood kids from NYC, removes all anime art influences from the SF series... including retroactively removing it from 3S.

It's because of branding. They know the game won't make as much money if the main characters aren't on it. It's as if they're trying to push the third strike cast aside. lol

The originals were definitely way better. Makes me kinda sad that Capcom is shafting Alex at every turn seeing as he is the protagonist for SF3.

Both Kinu and Akiman dont work at Capcom anymore. They work as freelancers now thats why you see them come back and do pinup art and also you see their work on other games.

So I was at E3 today, played online edition ...it was AWESOME. Very well done and all the extra features (trial modes, challenges, remixed music, etc.) are great.

I was playing some guy, beat him. And then walks up GOOTECKS to challenge me! I said, "holy crap, gootecks.nice to meet you. I watch cross counter all the time. He said, thanks appreciate it"...

Then he proceed to kick my ass with his Urien...

it was pretty sweet, haha

This might be the first fighting game I'll pick up on xbox live I'm usually a ps3 dude when it comes to fighting games for prefrence of the control.

I guess they had those guys that did udon comics to do the artworks. It's not really bad but still looks odd to me, the american comic-ish style just doesn't fit this game.

The originals are ok(very anime-ish), but these are a bit better(not as cartoony).

I'm just glad they gave akuma a human-like face now.

It looks nice but it doesn't fit with 3rd Strike in my opinion. The original art had a certain kind of texture to it that matched the game. To me all of the original artwork as well as the game itself looks like an oil painting. This artwork doesn't match that.
