First of all, although you mention that Deadpool is not one of your main characters, you still have to look at team synergy. Team synergy will always be a major factor, and this is considering how they help each other via Assists or how well they lead into each other for combos.
For example, your team consisted of Taskmaster, X-23, and Deadpool. I never got to see which Assist Type was chosen for X-23, but I'm guessing you chose Ankle Slice for the OTG abilities. That's the best assist for her. But if that's the case, then having Deadpool with Katana-rama is not a wise choice. You've essentially limited yourself to no valuable Assists used for approach.
Should have used Task Masters counter or secret move super on those tatsu spams.
