Yun is only broken at an high level of play IMO. I'm not really seeing his brokenness online or even against average or slightly above average players (3000-4000BP). He's not like Sagat who even a scrub can make look to be overpowered. I personally don't mind facing online Yun's but, I do understand that he is amazing when put into the hands of a pro. I personally don't see a lot of online Fei's so I can't really comment on how broken he is. I see a lot of Yang's online having trouble though as it's harder to get mix ups with him after a mantis slash knock down. I'm also not having that difficult of a time with Yang's either. I thought I was going to get owned when I kept hearing how broken these characters are but, they are O.K to play against if you're an casual player going up against another casual player or just a normal player. Maybe nerf them for the tourney scene but, they honestly seem O.K with two players of equal skill playing them at lower levels compared to the pros.

Man, you really took the words from my mouth. I always think the Yun is more like a skill multiplier.
And he is not even close to what was Sagat on vanilla. On Vanilla a guy who never's played street fighter before had a chance to win against you.
Well Yun is OP on high level of play but if you are patient Yun players normally crack themselves.
my main problem with yun at low level play is that most of his normals and specials are so damn safe on block, also his normals have really fast start up frames and great hitboxes
interesting but do one for a character i actually care about like ibuki or guy or something...
I am tired of reading the same OP comments on these sites...I strongly believe the shoto noobs are the ones that are complaining about Yun because they can't play their brain dead style anymore. The current cast can kick Yun's ass and no character in the game is OP because the game is balanced.

yeah, people loves to say that yun is OP.....and well........
i main yun and makoto, both chars are amazingly good, makoto is more dificult to play but yun needs a lot of practise to be really good, i currently have 12000 bp, and yeah his is amazing, but i spent a lot of time in training mode making sure that my links and combos are solid because of the shoryu mashers.
lets face it, yun is not that easy to play, the dive kick is fully punishable, his dragon kicks trade almost all the time and is a really bad antiair, the palm is useless most of the time and has one of the worst defense of the hole game.
even though i dont see a lot of yuns playing online bu a lot of kens, and ken is way more dangerous in the hands of a noob, nobody complains on his shoryu spamming or in akuma´s ultra wich can kill you instantly.
yun´s super is deadly but you can fail it, not like most of the other supers.....
so stop crying............
and Ryu_Apprentice...if you say that you can beat yun with E-HONDA........

I'm also tired of hearing the same ignorant comments on these sites saying that Yun is not OP, especially when Ono and Seth both stated that Yun and Yang were intended to be stronger than the rest of the cast... TBH, Yun is pretty braindead and thats why I stopped playing him, but you can't deny the fact that he has great tools, damage and frame data

I can take 3000-4000BP Yuns with my Juri usually, Idk about higher level Yuns. But I agree with #23, Ken, Ryu, Oni, E. Ryu, and pretty much everyone that has a shoryuken is dangerous in the hands of noobs with all the shoryuken mashing, especially to Juri because of her low health :/
I'd like to see something like this for Akuma. Loltima made a nice basics movie set for him back in the Vanilla days but I'd like to see someone like Tokido or Infiltration break him down now in AE. I'm an Akuma player who's taken a big break from CS 1.6 on the PC. So, while I'm naturally behind the 8 ball because I'm learning stick and a character that needs to be played perfectly due to low health, I think a lot of Akumas can use some help because the US doesn't have too many good Akumas.
I think the video is a good approach to learning a character so thumbs up.

Some chars, not 2, not 3, and certainly not 15. It leaves to interpretation, So i can say that Rog, Gief, Fei, Sim is OP, just because Ono stated that? There are chars in the game that were only buffed, if you didn´t noticed, ryu, rog, rufus and many other top tiers (in so called balanced SSFIV, when there were top tiers and tiers to S-F)were nerfed, where other were buffed.
Ono nerver stated that Yun and Yang were OP, also Yun is very good, but Yang is far from OP. What i agree is that Yun has "moves" that were denied to some of the cast, example - meter gain both Guile and Cammy were nerfed in this dapartment, however Yun can gain meter very fast.
But if this is OP for example, then Guile and Cammy were OP in SSFIV.

I don´t remenber in any interview Seth saying that Yun and Yang were OP and there are no one char in the game that can beat them. Even in revelations, i didn´t saw he comment something about Yun being OP when Daigo was raping Fchamp.
But if ins´t you, someone who don´t talk BS will post the link and the specific time where the said that.
I remenber he saying that Yun is very strong, but never heard OP, like you said.
One thing is: I personally don´t believe that Capcom knows how to balance the game, that is why Sagat Vanilla was so Top tier, they need fans imput (Ono already stated that), to make the chars more competitive. They know how to create the game, but not to balance them. The best system they created was Damage Scaling, the rest is hearing fans opinions and see what they can do to make the game more competitive.
Yun is OP, end of story. And Yang is second best.
Everyone saying otherwise is either joining the Yun army or thinks saying "oh it's not that bad, I beat Yuns online everytime" makes them look cool. Sure you'll beat scruby players playing Yun, but just to make a point: my main in super was Makoto and I beat consistently some friends playing other characters - Makoto was buffed in AE, those same friends play Yun/Yang now and it is really really harder to beat them.
Yun is good because he has good tools and his specials are ridiculous. A low level player who knows how to palm can be pretty annoying, so imagine what a pro is like who knows everything about Yun. He isn't OP at low level, but he's always annoying if the person using him knows how to use a few of his tools.
It's at high level play, where execution masters really make him look OP. :P
I dont get it, why every one is ungry if all we know yun will be nerfed? all we know what happen with sentinel, everybody say he wasnt OP (c'mon Im not saying broken, only more powerfull than others) but everybody had him in his team, weird... now he got nerfed and only the "real" sentinel left.
They make yun powefull cuz that was the plan, then they will nerf him and with some luck his buddy fei (safe) long. yang isnt a problem, strong, but not like yun or fei
