THE_KZA posted a special treat trailer for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to his YouTube channel that was shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2011.

THE_KZA also took several pictures of the new costumes at the panel too. For more photos and details, hit the jump.

Taking this even further, Flashy pointed out that 1Up took a few more screen shots of the new MvC3 costumes, including a few repeats of the images shown here.

And lastly, Alex_MMorales sent in these details from the panel as well.

The "Keeping It Current" collection is updates to Magneto with his Age of X costume, Hulk in his Age of X gear, and Captain America is his. Deadpool and Doctor Doom get their outfits from the Identity Wars story. Spidey gets his new Marcos Martin Spider Armor plus his FF look. Doom also in his FF look.

In the "Keeping It Classic" collection, Ghost Rider gets his 90's costume, Hawkeye gets his original look, Hulk has modified pants, She-Hulk gets her Fantastic Four costume, plus an alternate Dormammu and original Captain America.

New Marvel-themed stages: Shadowland and what looks to be Days of Future Past. More on the way.

I was just wondering if they're coming out with more CGI trailers. It'd be cool. I really want to try out Hawkeye. I like how he's kinda the first of his kind with all the status effects. He reminds me of playing Pokemon (Using Confusion, Paralysis, sleeping, etc.)

Anyone else think this trailer was a little weak?

That's because it's an alt color. Two new alt colors, one DLC costume. That's one of his alt colors, based off of a SNES game.

I hope they give Zero his Nightmare Zero color from X6, complete with the black Z-Saber. And maybe a proper Black Zero color (not a Bass color), with a purple Z-Saber (like the Tenkuuha skill from X4, or Shot Eraser from X5 and X6.) But as an alternate costume, there's no other choice but the slim Zero look from the Mega Man Zero games.

Oh! I just thought of a good new move for Zero. The Hyouretsuzan from Mega Man X4. It's this down air stab with an icicle instead of his Z-Saber (like how his Z-Saber changes during his Ryuenjin, the dragong punch move.) To make it interesting, this would freeze the opponent and they would travel downward along with Zero. They crash into the floor, the ice shatters, and a ground bounce would occur! Cool, huh?

@28 Its actually a classic snes game and the fact that you couldn't tell that from the box or the screenshots leads me to believe that you are either really young and need to shut your mouth about things you know nothing about or someone who is bitter and incompetent who should still shut their mouth. Just cause you convinced yourself that Capcom has personally screwed you over doesn't mean we have to and btw this game most assuredly is not garbage.

In the original Vampire game, when Morrigan wins, she transforms her clothing in the animation to that. It's not Remy. Just a coincidence that Remy has those colors, as Remy's main color is black top with the Omega symbol.

My guess is that the 2 new colours will be locked when we first get the game, and having a vanilla save file unlocks them right off the bat. Otherwise, you'd have to aquire player points to unlock them, like what they did with the character unlocks.

Everybody is going to at least have 1 costume, and maybe more if there's a big demand, like what happened in SF4. 12 costume packs in total, which including the 1st costume pack released for vanilla. (4 characters each pack x 11 packs + 6 characters already released = 50)

Does anyone else think this is a bunch of crap? I mean, if they have new costumes in a game for you to unlock then cool, seems like it should be part of the experience. However, if this is all just another way to line their pockets once people actually purchase the game then screw it.

New costumes are one thing, a bunch of different color combinations isn't really worth a damn thing except for the little boys who want to color coordinate their teams. Bottom line is it seems that Capcom is constantly putting their focus in the wrong area. Anything that can earn them that extra buck seems to be the only thing on their mind. Pretty Call of Duty-esque if you ask me. Pathetic.

Some of the costumes are nothing like the comic counterpart. It's just more of the same alternate color schemes they gave with the original game. So nothing that actually changes the shape of the costume. The pre-order bonuses are ACTUALLY new costumes. The rest are just new color schemes.
