Tip from Armcameron.
When I played the demo the tag combos (the ABCC ones) seemed slow enough in process to give me time to think what my next character could or would do.
However, I think by the time the game comes out they should speed up the transition process between fighter 1 launching and fighter 2 running in. It takes like a second and a half just to connect the next guy's hit.
Its like a magic series with a zoom-in flash freeze that will definitely get annoying when we all do it for the umpteenth time. Can you imagine if something like that happened for every time you launched someone in marvel 3? meh...
The game's still mad fun though
I feel like the person playing poison wasn't doing it right. lol.
4 player mode, that will be pure crazyness and give a whole new meaning to "team battle" online and at tournaments.
they just need to make sure the roster is good. the last 3 ww's, some sf3, some alpha and a surprise or 2.
@#7
Bro fist!! I don't care, I'd still tap that @$% as if it were going outta business! lol
Poison is cool but I almost wish she wasn't in the game because every YouTube/Eventhubs/SRK comment (including this one) is about her gender and it's annoying.
So Poison is SETH's FAULT?!!! RRAAARRRGGGGGH!
lol j/k.
It definitely looks like this game has its own personality and isn't just blatantly ripping everything off from SF4, so that's good.
i dont care if she is or is not a tranny.
if she is not one (which i believe) then okay.
if she is one then, read comment #15
i dont care if she is or is not a tranny.
if she is not one (which i believe) then okay.
if she is one then read comment #15. she's the hottest female sf character in the series either way
I can't believe it's actually happening. It was like 13 years ago when I first played Tekken ( 3rd one...can't remember ) and I fell in love with the characters. Only thing i wasn't the biggest fan of was their 3D engine. And SF has always been my favorite fighting game. So since then, first thing that comes to my mind when playing Tekken has always been " Man I wish I could have Those guys In a Street Fighter game! " And it's happening!! Game's looking freaking amazing and just a mere thought of being able to pick Yoshi and King and fight against guys like Ryu or Dhalsim or you know...I'm just sooo freaking excited !

IIRC, transgenders who begin hormone therapy at a younger age will develop a more feminine physique. This includes their breast, hips and thighs.
While the characters in this game are completely disproportionate, it's very possible a real life transgender female can look as good as people feel Poison does.
I have FAPPED to Poison so what I bet alot of you kats have too Q:
Agreed^ nice to see someone else just enjoying the game for once.
I'm hyped for this game! I gotta say, the cross assault feature looks overpowered as hell. The reason I say this is because I've watched Dhalsim just get smashed by two rush down characters at the same time. While this is only one situation, it shows how a mechanic can get used and abused in particular situations. I do hope it's controlled in some way. Because when one character dies the game is over, every mechanic added is critical vs. MvC3 where another character pops in.
I'm sorry but I'm just going to pretend Poison is a woman. It screws with my head to much. Lol!
Not a fan of the 4 player thing either. Feels a little too random at the moment, like you're playing Final Fight.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to play it at Evo.
Bring on SF Alpha per Ono's comments (I can't get enough of SF...).
@7 - LOL yup, pretty much can't deny that.
@15 - LOL, too true.
@33 - that's pretty much how I call it. I'm very well aware of the history and proposed ambiguity of the character, but it's much easier to say "she" than to keep trying to figure it out, lol.
But hey, she is what she is, lol.
...The Cross Assault feature actually makes more sense in that video, and I think it could work. The only thing that scares me about that is it seems like it's really easy to just surround your opponent and lock them down, with little drawback.
And this game definitely DOES NOT NEED SNAP-BACK. As Seth said, it works in MvC because when a character dies, the next one will come out. But snap-backs in this game could pretty much break it since you lose the round if one character is KO'ed. I'm completely against that idea.
@ 9 and 10
i REALLY hope they implement 4 player in this game. playing mortal kombat 9, although im not the best at it, had ten times more fun playing as a group :). plus im like one of the only sf fans in my area and my friends will get into it if there are team :/
@36
It is fun playing with friends. I hope they realize that. It would definitely bring along many casuals to fighting games. I think that might be what makes games like Call of Duty so successful; Just being able to play with friends (And a very low learning curve).
This is how Marvel vs Capcom started. XMen vs StreetFighter. Just wait, we will get Capcom vs Namco shortly < :P
they raising the bar with this one i think this is gonna be the best of this gens capcom fighters
@4
I agree with you the launch sh*t takes a long time to do and will get annoying super fast considering its a bnb combo.. not anything special.. image how annoying it would be in mvc3 if u have to see that sh*t for every launch
@4 the timing of the run-in and hit depends on your screen positioning. I like the mechanic as it makes you think more about zoning and positioning on the screen. Where SF and MvC is all about a struggle to push your opponent into the corner all round and keep them there, this game adds the new strategy of keeping them mid-screen or even staying more to your own side of the screen for faster run-ins and launches. It's a new aspect of the meta-game being introduced which hasn't been seen in this type of fighter yet.
As far as Poison goes, I prefer the terms:
"Shim" or "Herm" :D
Well the game looks pretty fun so far. It is nice to see how this community is now somewhat opening up to it. When they first announced it, the hate was so strong here lol. But glad some of you matured up.
As for Poison, who cares for gender. You wanted this character in a game so bad and now you got your wish. The gender should not even matter. Male or female look at it this way... No point in judging others.. We all have our guilty pleasures... Some more guilty than others. ~__^
@26 YOU and everyone else is looking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too deep into this.
If you want to believe it's a girl, then it's a girl.
I mean look, if I showed you a picture of an apple, and told you it was an orange, would you really believe me? She's a cartoon, saying she is a tranny is not gonna make her any less of a woman unless, UNLESS, in game or in character, she does something that hints that she is something else. So far all I see is a woman doing woman things, does'nt matter what the creators say because I have not seen her do anything that would say otherwise.
So lets just drop this because no one is gonna be any less of a man here if they find her atrractive which she is and something is wrong if you don't.
3:13 handcuffs going through the thigh? they have to get that fixed immediately.
Am I the only one who got really bothered when Seth said the only feature of this game is the tag cancel? And how they want to avoid putting advanced techniques because it turns away new players? This is not ok, they are dumbing down every single fighting game so that the bar between high level veterans, and beginners is as low as possible... Capcom is going to destroy their loyal fan base by making these scrubby games that offer no reward for spending the time learning them. I don't care if I sound elitist, this is what separates a fighting game from other games, the ability to practice, and become a good player, and the feeling you get when you level up your ability. F this mindset of handing the "cool looking combos" to the people who will only play the game for a month, before going back to call of duty.
Brilliant, though I can't say i'm found of the 4 character thing.
