Seth Killian covered some really interesting information about Capcom's upcoming fighting games recently on the Unity live stream from Comic-Con. He talks about Street Fighter X Tekken, specifically the Cross Assault feature, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition.
The cross assaults seem right now like its to complicated to be helpful and would likely result in unwanted character control switches. I love the idea of the mechanic though maybe doing something like hitting the tag button during it to switch character control or doing the same motion and press that it takes to activate it. just some ideas.

Good to know that list of changes exists, but I also hope it gets released at some point. After the game's been out, of course.
I actually like what they've done with XF so far, but it could still stand for some tweaks. Would like to see level 3's length or strength reduced still.

WTF what is up with the monster hunter Team? They are missing out on some great advertisement from their games and They keep turning the MvC team down! And they complain about not having enough exposure in the west? Maybe THIS IS WHY??? This is also proof that just because the game is made by Capcom doesn't mean they have total and complete access to it.

Cross assault: Interesting, could be good with the right team kind of like Team Hypers in MvC. I bet Guile would suck with it but Sagat and Sim may be great with it. However, the "neutral" state switch seems very awkward to control, when it could easily just be both medium buttons, seeing as how that button combination has no other use during cross assault.
Boundaries for Crossover games: Let Final Fight and Infamous be the boundaries and nothing further.
Rolento: would be good to represent the alpha series if anyone had to be in (cody/guy don't count).
Team Aerial Combos: I like the additions but needs one more change. I would like the S attack to have some kind of visual indicator or flash of which direction the attacker is inputting. Something very fast, hard to see coming, hard to react to, but still there. I know there's already a quick flash, but it doesn't have anything to do with direction. An up, down, or sideways indicator would be a test of reflexes for the defender as well as mind games of which one he anticipates. As of now, it is just a dumb guessing game when there's no visual or aural lead at all.
I'm worried about Hulk in UMVC3 because I always felt he was a small tweak away from being ridiculously broken or bad, and I have already decided Hulk will be on my team no matter what.
Rolento and Sodom would make Sound Effects Tekken even more beast!
i hope they buff hsien-ko, nerf most of the cast and x-factor, and add new modes and things to do in single player (look at mk capcom)
so far the only character i want for sxt that has been anounced is cammy, i fear for juri, sakura and ibuki since capcom seems to like sausage fests now, based on the characters added to arcade edition and specially ultimate mvc3
Guys, if Final Fight characters were IN A STREET FIGHTER GAME, WHY is it so hard for you to accept they can be in SFxT?

I think its BS when capcom says stuff like marvel didnt want this or that or rights or whateva. Cause apperantly sentinel was not supposed to be in but guess what? He was in. They claimed strider couldnt get in because of rights but suddenly they have rights? Couldnt they have gotten rights way ahead of time so he could be in mvc3? I think they do this stuff on their account and make excuses to stuff to avoid hate mail. Like rocket raccoon i still didnt hear why he is in. Oh it mustve been marvel since rocket raccoon is so popular and all these movies,cartoons and games are coming out it would be an awesome idea!(sarcasm)

yes, and it gets boring after you finish it with all the characters, besides, im talking about extra modes, things to do, i know qhe gameplay is awesome and all but it doesnt hurt to have extra modes to buff up the experience, mortal kombat did a great job on that matter, even soul calibur (before 4 anyway) used to have tons od modes and things to do, in mvc all you can do is play and do some challenges.
@ 37 guess its just a matter of opinion. Personally I find the challenges in MvC's Event mode (with the right setting) more challenging then the MK9's Challenge Tower. But a to each his I guess. Also at one of your other comments. I doubt they left out Sakura (Asuka just scream of being her rival, thats if Asuka gets into the game herself), one of Ibuki's friends in the one background stages has me convinced that she is the game. Don't about Juri but would be shocked if Capcom shows her in it before the end of the year.

I'm not sure on this but i think i know how it works.
Lets say that you have a character with a non combo-able overhead and you want to make that as part of a combo. The combo is: overhead xx cr. lp xx s. forward lk (link) cr. hp xx launcher
This combo wouldn't be possible without the 3/4 player attack option. So you activate it, then the first character does the overhead, then after you release the forward input it switches to the second character, then you do the cr. lp. When you release the down input, you then go back to the first char. to do the s. forward lk link into the cr. hp (if possible) then hold down and do the launcher. Once you release the down input it switches back to the second character and you can finish it however way you want it.
Again that's how i think it works

i think juri vs Anna Williams would be an awesome rivalry, sakura indeed has to fight asuka and i doubt they will left her out, even karin could make it to fight lili, we will have to wait and see.
i have to admit there are some fun challenges (galactus on hardest with only one character is insane) but the whole mode feels rushed and unpolished
