A huge amount of gameplay trailers for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 were revealed today. Check them all out below! Ghost Rider, Strider, Hawkeye, and Firebrand are featured.

On Topic, I don't like the look of the healthbars and stuff. Can't wait to see who's in the game. Definitly not going to buy it if it costs $60. MvC3 was not worth $60 to me.

The new fighters got me hype. Looks like original characters all have new moves too. Hopefully this game will rise up to where parts of MvC3 failed.

The best parts of these trailers is X factor is not insanely broken like it was before. I hate getting combacks with X FActor because it's so freaking easy. One BnB combo is 100%? One mistake and it's all over.

I think I might add firebrand to my Demon Team of Dorm and Shuma. And I'm just throwing this out there... but I think Black Knight might be in this. I'm just going based off of TaskMaster's move set. He's the last one (Sword of Black Knight).

Just watched the vid with Firebrand and Hawkeye ont he city/Hand stage. Firebrand gets Lvl 3 X Factor, but the damage seems nerfed. Also, activated in the air.

It is possible they tone down the UI because they need more memory. If I recall, I remember how Niitsuma-san said that Ghost Rider couldn't be added due to memory issues. They may have found a way around it with some sacrifices. I may be wrong though. It's just a thought.

This is interesting. Strider has 2 Level 3 supers...Ragnarok and Ouroboros. I'm not sure about putting Ragnarok at level 3. I do think it was necessary to put Ouroboros at level 3 because a lot of people will try to spam with that super if it was level 1. Overall, it seems Strider is well balanced.

You idiots who come to this site to sate your craving for fighting action, and then moan when the best fighting game developer in the world brings out an update to their game. I couldn't care any less if they brought them out every year, I'd still buy them. Why? Because I love them.

Support what you like, if you don't like it, then don't buy it. It's simple logic that can be easily implemented into your life. Life is short, while I'm alive I want to enjoy fighting games to the fullest. If that means a new version of a game that I love coming out every year, well... so be it.

i got my mvc 3 for free basically. traded it in after 2 weeks and switched back to bb and sf but i saw the potential but online just put me off. this looks quite good right now i just hope for psylocke , gambit and CABLE or at least fantomex.

something I wanted to point out. if you look at Events 22 & 23, they're called 'Capcom Powered Up' and then 'Super Capcom Powered Up', possible referring to Super Street Fighter 4, the 'powered up' version of Vanilla, because if you look at Events 24 & 25, they're called 'Marvel Powered Up' and 'Ultimate Marvel Powered Up', possible referring to the just now confirmed Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Luckily I sold my MVC3 off before this was announced, dude must feel he made a bad choice.

But still, I feel kind of cheated? UMvC3 was what MvC3 was meant to be, they act as if its an enhancement. New character is good and all but i think announcing UMvC3 only 5months after MvC3 wis waaaaay too early. I feel kind of cheated in a sense. MvC3's netplay system was frustrating and broken as hell, no spect mode, getting kicked all the way to mainmenu when an error occurs which it does often. Felt like MvC3 shouldn't have been released/should be what UMvC3 is.

But still, hooray for fighting games! I hope future ones won't be like this.
I'll 2nd guess any future fighting games from capcom.

While the air x factor activation is scary, lvl 3 X-Factor looks largely nerfed. The end of the 3rd video has lvl 3 X-factor used by red arremer and he does a short combo into a super, but the damage on the combo is waaaay less than the s--t I see now. I'll be interested to hear the changes made to x-factor aside from the color change s--t (seriously cursing disallowed? =[ ). And dammit, please give me a color edit mode.

Most of his specials have a stagger or a bounce to them. That is NOT good for his opponents. And he his more mix-ups than before.

Oh boy! He's gonna be great. I kinda wish X-23's QCB+M was invincible to physical attacks.

Nova is not C/B Tier. If you don't know who Nova is, you haven't been reading comics. Seriously, someone calling obscure. Rocket Raccoon is his teammate in Guardians Of The Galaxy, and is made of awesome. Same for Nemesis and Iron-Fist.

did anyone notice that when you do an areal exchange the character glows depending on the direction you exchange and if the person doesn't succeed in stopping it you lose a super bar cause thats pretty nuts.

whatever they did to the graphics, it looks unpolished. Especially the new characters; they look very weird. As for the meters and health bars I agree with you guys, they are very ugly. I rather keep the same old health and meter bars if these are going to replace them. I also don't like the giant "x" they have in the middle of the screen to represent x-factor; there's really no need for it. In addition, I also think it's harder now to determine how much life the supporting chars on either sides have.

What I do like about Ultimate is:

1. new characters and stages

2. new special moves and reworked hypers. For some characters probably brand new hypers.

3. Improved fighting mechanics including the new x-factor system.

4. Better online modes. Spectator!

What I hope for:

1. Better story mode.

2. Better offline modes.

3. chars from mvc3 are improved. Especially hsien-ko, joe, felicia, thor, haggar, and jill.

4. True anti-air assists. I believe chars like morrigan and ryu should have true anti-air assists.

5. Push block shouldn't work on characters like haggar. Or if it does, it shouldn't push them as far as the other characters. I believe this will help make characters like hulk, haggar, and thor much much better.

I'm fine with the "Super" treatment, I mean 12 new chars, new stages, rebalance, new online modes, etc., for 40 bucks it's ok IMO. Think of the alternative: not releasing MvC3 on February and make everyone wait for another 10 months to play the "Ultimate" version of the game. Thanks but no thanks, I'd rather have something to play instead of waiting endlessly for an eventual "final" version.

Updates for fighting games are fine as long as they're meaningful and with enough new content to warrant a new release. Oh and props to Capcom for listen to fans and adding several fan requested characters (I'm looking at you Strider :D)

BTW, the health bars look F*CKING AWFUL, hope they change those.

Watching him in these videos is exactly as I imaged he would turn out, a snore fest. Look at the Hyper Bar when Ryu is doing his Shinku Hadoken. There's a timer like Wolverine's Berserker Charge and Ryu's eye's are glowing blue. IMO its Ryu using the “Power Of Nothingness.”
If you watch Akuma/Gouken/Gen’s ending in SFIV, Gouken glows Blue when he uses the Power Of Nothingness to fight Akuma. Also if you watch “SFIV: Ties That Bind” movie, Ryu uses the Power Of Nothingness against Seth after Refusing to give into the Satsui No Hado. And in the SF x TKN trailer he starts to use the Power Of Nothingness (as his eyes glow blue) but then they turn Red like Evil Ryu.

Im just not impressed with how much copying we've seen of the original casts movesets just in the first couple released characters.

Just look at firebrand. Has X-23's Ankle Slice, Shuma's Mystic Stare with flame instead of a laser, the copy of himself like Zero/Felicia Just to name a few on him.

Yes I know Hawkeye was the original bowman but he still has a largely copied moveset from Taskmaster.

Even Ghost Rider has the little flame pillar like dormammu, the flame breath like chris' flamethrower, and his chain super just looks like an expanded Thor's Odin's Beard hurricane.

And we've got 8 more to go folks. Thought the point of MvC3 was a smaller roster with more unique characters. Here we go with the expanded roster with tons of copied movesets again.

strider? Well actually wasn't a big fan. His voice sounds iffy.

Hawkeye? Can't say we will see that many of his shots are like taskmasters. But sounds like he has a freeze arrow that supposedly stuns or immobilise's a player.

I hear many characters got new moves. Spencer looks like he got air move similar to skrulls.

I agree about the health bars and super. They are annoying and should be changed. Can't really tell how low a characters's health bar to strategically bring them back in.

Will look forward to more character reveals all though no sign of doc ock. Hmm spidey needs a rival. Venom?
