I dont understand the language!
(Didnt look at video yet)
A bit too long. Good analysis. A very comprehensive and relaxed host in Zhi. Extremely well done for first episode.
lol @GamePirate420
English is one of the main languages in Singapore. The CC videos would most likely be English.
I have to jump on the banwagan with everyone else. Great info but very long.
However, belive it or not, i dont think they need to change anything.
NO i dont want the vids to be longer, however, if a long vid means getting info like this, i cant see a problem with this.
Not only do they know a hell of a lot about the game, but they are extreamly excited about giving the info. This vid is a great example of people in the community really wanting to share their knowladge and make everyone else level up.
Some may like it, some may not, but it definatly has its place.
I just wanna know why other characters can cling and jump off walls but Spider-man cant?
Same problem with this as when combo and killer guest-hosted "american CC"
Neither one of them looks/talks to the camera/audience at all. They stare at the floor, offscreen, etc.
Just kind of find it annoying.
Why would anybody criticize it for being "too long"? It's an informational video; longer video = more information. The whole point of the video is to go in-depth and tell you exactly what is going on throughout the entire match, and however long that takes is how long the video should be.
I really appreciate what Gootecks and Mike Ross have done, but their old CC match analysis were rather basic and designed for beginners. This is the level of depth that CC should have had from the beginning.
New drinking game, every time Zhi says "top tier" take a shot haha
They should full screen the match, no point keeping the analysts on screen during the clip. Maybe loop the setup or what have you, that they are talking about so we're not just staring at the freeze frame the whole time. Pretty damn good for the pilot. Learned a few things.
Love it!
Excellent analysis of a match, and all the pausing and explaining really helps me (and maybe other people who need a bit of time to let information sink in).
I also like the sense of humor that these hosts have, but I can see how their dead pan delivery would make the jibes harder to spot. (Especially now the Crosscounter audience has gotten used to the joke-signposting with the generous laughing of Mike and Gootecks.)
Loved it, can't wait to see more from these two!
Still, I wouldn't mind seeing a new Excellent Adventure either.
Very informative video, I kind of gotten tired during the middle part of it though, because every time mago does a rekka he pauses the game and starts to ask Xian what he's gonna do, the thing with rekka is it's either a gamble or punish, it's more than enough to just mention it once or maybe twice at its most. But nonetheless great video and it's good to see some taiwanese heads.
These guys know a lot more about the game than gootecks and mike ross. U guys remember when they use to analyze matches? The details they go into are not as in-depth and are mostly self explanatory. What I like about Xian and Zhi is that they dig deep to inform us of things we wouldn't otherwise have known; or overlooked. But, what they lack is the sense of humor that gootecks and mike brings to the CC episodes. But than again, if they were to copy gootecks & mike I'm sure people will complain about that as well. This episode was a bit long and some of the segments could of been deleted but overall very good for a debut episode. Look forward to more!
when they announced an Asia version of Cross Counter i was expecting it to be the same thing but in another language
@22 bokosaki
they're singaporeans. don't mixed us up with the taiwanese.
Look at the awesome eyebrows on Mike....Xian! Now we need to have them saying "Hold Dat" in Mandarin or Malay.
Oh, and the shirt that Xian's wearing can be bought from Shadowloo. It's from the new BossLogic designs.
