I get it... So they think bringing back strider people will stop using phoenix. I'm all for Dlc, but phoenix will still be picked. I would laugh if clockwork went Strider Doom Phoenix.
@Wolfeyes187 Striders satalite orbs will keep Pheonix honest if they work the same in MvC3, also fighting Strider would be much more enjoyable than spam fest Pheonix. Personally, I used Strider with Chun Li in MvC1 and with Chun being as strong as she is in MvC3 versus MvC2, Strider would be a godsend.
NO im not complaining just annoyed by the Pheonix surgance recently. Im starting to miss 250K Sentinel now since I know how to fight him.

Whoever had the idea to not include him on this game right away should never touch anything related to game development, EVER. Simple as that.
Glad that someone decides to make something like this to point that out.
Also, they are doing all kind of sh-t reboots and no new Strider yet? Just wow. Such a unique character and universe getting wasted.

There's licensing problems since Capcom doesn't actually own the rights to Strider but hopefully with enough ruckus like this we'll get him back, though I think he's going to play very differently in MVC3 and there'll be a lot of dissapointed fans.

I know that, but you know how easly would it be to solve that? Just like the story with the EX characters. The money they got from a simple SFIV costume back could solve that alone.

Anyways, Gene from Godhand > Strider. Would rather see him in than another remake of an old character.

Anyhow, even though I also sucked using him, I want Strider back as well. One of my favorite characters in MvC2 despite how piss=poor I was at that game. ;p

people who can teleport are already tough to deal with in mvc3. Think about wesker,phoenix,wolverine,zero,x-23, and dante. Almost instant 50/50. Strider would be deadly in this game.
I wanted to cry when I heard Jin's theme when Clockwork talked about Strider. I would love to hear that theme remixed. Spencer and Jin FTW! Bioooooonic/Blooooooodia combo!!!
This killed me. Chips Ahoy? Defeated Dark Prince? So many jokes in this. And obviously I approve of Strider for MVC3.
I dont think there is enough buttons in mvc3 to support striders entire moveset. It was already cluttered as is with separate punches and kicks. Controllable teleport, attacking teleport, 3 different kinds of projectiles, 3 different sword slashing moves, wall cling, and the various air slashing directions. Granted strider would play nothing like the rest of the teleporters and hopefully wont be nerfed to be doomed as another bad addition.
Hilarious video, but you guys might wanna rethink bringing Strider back. Remember the clamor for Jill, mostly for her infamous slide (which now She-Hulk is rocking)? Now we got Mind-Controlled Jill with no Zombie Calling, an awkward Hyper (Target Sighted!) and a Level 3 in which I've seen VERY few use effectively.
They did that to Jill. You think they won't change up Strider if they bring him in?

Well, Jill seemed rush to me, and Jill was not all that requested. I would look more at what they did with Storm, Magnus and Doom. They changed them about quite a bit to fit in the game, but they're still effective....
I know this wont happen, but they should lessen the overall damage, decrease hitstun scaling and damage scaling, remove 2 second OTG's and fix X-factor.
Strider is too difficult to implement! (Like CapCom and Frank West)
He has animals and object flying and coming in from every angle. That's too much for the Next Gen Processors AND to do online correctly.
Basically the online is the issue. If people didnt need it it would NOT be an issue.
I don't know why people want him in so badly. He isn't even all that great.

How are you going to watch/comment on a topic thats clearly for strider fans if you dont like strider then dont watch the video or comment. And strider was great as a matter of fact along with megaman and gambit whom i might add have been in mvc1 and mvc2 but capcom decides people are dying to play useless characters like viewtful joe,hsien-ko,spencer,and arthur!!! I would gladly say strider,gambit,megaman, and venom should have been in the game first then make those other lame characters dlc. And wtf jill and shuma as dlc was lame i understand a little about shuma but not jill
