Capcom put out a new character teaser for Street Fighter X Tekken this morning. This is the 6th character teaser trailer.

Dude looks cool though. I don't play Tekken, so I look at all these cats like a bunch of new SF characters. Excited to see a new boxer design that isn't Balrog/Dudley.

#19 I doubt it though Balrog's character design is designed around Power like Steve where Dudley is designed around being flashy. And Street Fighter X Tekken doesn't seem to be a game where flash is important IMO :D

Purple kicks, what appears to be big yellow gloves, no shirt... i have to say steve fox as well. I dont know of who else actually wears sneakers besides Guy and he always have his ninja garb on.

A frame-by-frame video analysis of an E3 trailer (I think) revealed a picture of Steve Fox... so yeah... old stuff...
That means Asuka/Lili is gonna be next for Tekken characters.

No offense to anyone but I hate Balrog's character design always have always will I think he is a flat out boring,overused and stereotypical character. Dudley finally brought something different to the table yes he was another Black Boxer but still he added a more in depth character he was cool, suave, refined and his style was super fun to play. If this is truly a game of dream match ups than mine is Steve Vs Dudley.

That is Steve Fox, it was evident since the E3 Trailer, so expect Dhalsim to be in as well. Balrog and Dudly probably wont be in this game nor even Dudley, I think Ono is trying to go with variety with this game by not giving to of the same fighting styles of characters from both SF and TK. We might not get Zangief, we might get Alex (SFIII) instead, Instead of Deejay we might get Elena, there are ton of possibilities.

Keep in mind Balrog (Mike Bison) was intended to be a parody of real-life boxer Mike Tyson so obviously he'll be sterotypical. He also was the first Boxer character before Steve Fox and Dudley. Dudley's design as another boxer was obviously supposed to differentiate from the sterotypical Street Fighter Boxer, Balrog so they had to add some pizazz and unrealistic movesets to Dudley.

By the skin color and muscles, my first guess was Bruce Irwin(a fight against Sagat would be sick). But, the shoes in the end revealed Steve Fox. Nice character anyways, but I just want my Feng :D

#42 Yes indeed he was. Fun Fact though the character design for Dudley and some of his moves were actually inspired by a boxer by the name of Jack Dempsey. Dudley's move rolling thunder is a take on the famous Dempsey Roll. But its that particular reason I like Dudley more is that he is as you said it not a stereotype. Street Fighter is full of these stereotypes (I.E. from Japan we have a Karate Man, A School Girl and A Sumo Wrestler or American fighters seems to always have blond hair.) and I don't mind that but when you get a character that is truly interesting and has been proven to have a fun play style and there overlooked its kind of a bummer. I'm hoping in this game we get Alex over Zangief and Dudley over Balrog its just my personal preference these guys deserve more screen time especially Alex whom is my favorite character.

Hopefully Balrog stays because that's who I mained in every Street Fighter game rather than the Alpha series. Alex on the other hand, despite being the protagonist of the Street Fighter III series isn't as popular as Zangief

Just so you know, according to canon story, Dudley beat Balrog easily in a world title boxing match. I cannot say I remember where I read it, but I know that I did.

Dudley is also not about flash like, for example, Ken. Dudley is all about technique and speed. He is basically what sets the bar for heavy weight boxing in the world of street fighter.

All of this I'm going according to story.

#51 I totally respect that if you have played him throughout every game that's understandable. That's exactly why I want Alex in SF X T because he was my main in the 3 series and in Tat vs Cap. #53 I totally agree with you there Dudley is more about technique than flash. Flashy characters are Ken, Seth, C.Viper and Juri. A few friends of mine have been practicing with Dudley a lot so its very impressive to see people who know how to use him really show off his moves.

looks like Steve and would make sense seeing that he and dhalsim were seen in the last cinematic trailer. when they start revealing characters that haven't shown up anywhere else, things will get pretty interesting, seeing that capcom has been doing a great job with these trailers.

I also thought initially it was Bryan, but it's almost definitely Steve. Doesn't matter though since Bryan Fury will definitely be in this game. He is too popular a Tekken character to not be in it. Mach Fisting/Breaking people is almost as iconic to Tekken casuals as death fisting

Its definitely Steve.One of the shots shows his golden glove. Oh and the red open glove pic is just someone in the background. In alot of the gameplay videos they have out right now there are soldiers from the tekken series standing in the back and they wear gloves like the red ones in this trailer.

@ 57 - in regards to being Flashy? I agree with AngrySteve (although C. Viper is questionable in that regard). Ken's style is very flashy. His ultras are the best evidence.

Same with Juri, she's all about showing off and toying with her opponents to begin with. Even her counter is a taunt!

I say this with the utmost respect of course. after all, Juri's one of my mains. ;p
