Patch for PC Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition out now

The title update for the PC release of Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition is out now. Here's a screen shot of how the patch came up for one user and the patch notes follow below.

• Support for keyboards and gaming devices that were not being recognized by the game.

• Patch allowing re-mapped keys.

• Changes Fixed Mode as the default graphic setting.

• DRM removed for non-Steam versions of the game. (Unlocks all characters in offline mode)

• NVIDIA 3D Vision enhancements.

Tip from Chryo, C2Q and a reader who didn't his username or email address.

It's cool that they remove the DRM, but at this points it won't change anything

The connection I use blocks GFWL, so I can't do the patch, and therefore I'm still stuck with about 15 characters.

If only the patch was manual it would make sense, but removing the DRM for the people who can't play online with a patch you have to get online ...

My game crashes now after the patch. Every time I press start to get to the main menu, it crashes.

SF4 was running perfectly fine on my logitech black keyboard but does not on SSFIV AE .

I have a PS3 pad also but not working either. I can plug my old keyboard but he's so hilariously bad . It's not even USB keyboard so you can imagine the fail and input delay.

The update for steam ain't released either. If i can't play i want to be refunded. If not well . After they wonder why so many ppl hacked SF4. The multiplayer was so hacked and they never did anything. That probably when they realized that 50% of the ppl playing on GFWL had pirated version of SF4 .The fail. The ULLLLLLLLLLLTTTTTTA fail .

Of course i`m melodramatic right now .. But fourty buck that fourty bucks . I haven't purchased the 15$ upgrade because i prefeer playing on my keyboard.

For anyone still looking where to buy SSF4:AE PC Retail, I just picked one up at FRYS: City of Industry.

This one makes the game crashes every time you press start on main menu. Capcom just make the game worse...

Yeah I'm having the same problem as Hansel_G. Everytime I press start, it flashes "Checking for downloaded content" for just a second then crashes to desktop.

same problem as hansel_g and snake89 - the game was working fine before this patch, now i cannot get past the 'press start' screen as it crashes! :[

Patched and working ok for me. I have a Logitech keyboard that didn't work until the patched came out yesterday. I love the Pc version. Doesn't seem to lag like the old Vanilla Street fighter 4.

For those of you who crashes, I found the fix but I'm afraid I brought bad news for you. The title crashes because the new patch can't load your old saved game. So, the only solution is, go to your my documents, capcom folder, then delete all your saved games or backup it. You will create a new save file and can enter the main menu :(

I have the steam version the the waiting is becoming a pain.

Sometime Capcom just get on my nerve. WTF i bought the game to play not to wait. I would've just bought the update for ps3 but it got the ylod so now i had to buy the game. But guess what Capcom can't configure keyboard.
