DMG|PR Balrog put up the second video in his tutorial series for Balrog (Boxer) in Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, this covers his special moves. This describes Balrog's most used specials and how to utilize them. There's some new changes in the frame data also.

i really dig this style of tutorial. simple and clean, step by step. tho, stuff like max does is also great.

either way, good for beginners to get into a character.

#1 Actually considering it's written by the best Balrog and it goes into little specifics based on the AE version of the character like which special is the best combo ender (now) for max damage I think this is great. I don't even play Rog but it's cool to see a great player try to help the community.

Well written guides aren't a bad thing per se. I just wish I could see more for more complex characters.

Good tut, really nicely done. I don't play rog but I'm having a hard time playing against him and some of this stuff will actually help me in the matchup:)

might as well take it as they come. People playing the more complex characters probably dont feel like trying to explain it in video format due to alot of little things to cover, just to have only a select few who are actually planning on playing said character at such a level.

Like putting together a guy tutorial like in the same fashion as this balrog one would probably be a complete pain and lengthy just to show it off to a bunch of people that dont care really or willingness to pick him up the character to begin with.

I always have a hard time linking the headbutt into his Super or Ultra. After the headbutt it just does 1 hit and the rest goes right through. Any tips from other Balrog players?

You have to juggle by using the kick buttons after you activate the ultra.
I usually do kick, neutral, kick, kick, kick from anywhere and punch, neutral, kick, kick, kick in the corner.

Personally I don't like to juggle with Super. I think it's best to link the super after dash punch or turn punch for more damage.
