@8 agreed. Those guys play to win, not to entertain us. It's not like they don't experiment with low tiers ever. If it gets to a point where daigo is totally unbeatable with yun, we should blame the game's balance, not the player taking advantage of a character that's available to everyone else! *waits for the rumored SF4 AE 2012 edition....

People still flamed Daigo for using Ryu when Ryu was ranked B tier in Super.
yun is a really strong char, but is not easy to use, you need perfect execution to make him work.
Marn, who was known for his great execution, is not a great yun player.

Ignoring the fact that there is no "best club", That example would be more equivalent of pros using superior fightsticks to maximize their execution.
Using Yun, on the other hand, is like teeing off closer to the hole than your opponent.
@9 so how do you explain the existence of livestreams and VODs? furthermore, your argument about yun not being broken because he is to everyone isn't very good, since everybody is upset about what the tournaments will come to if one char is so obviously stronger than the rest. 95% yunplayers at evo cuz of prize money? not impossible

The comment about Daigo "this year his decided to power up, tried of the haters, questioning his abilities, decided to pick the strongest player etc etc" his shot himself in the foot a little imo.
Whilst this shows his skills are beyond his shoto's tradition, yun is a more offensive aggressive player etc, by picking the strongest player, his only going to get more hate and more people questioning his abilities as many have already labelled yun overrated and overpowered.
If he really wanted to show his skill he should have pick a low or lower tier player (Don't get me wrong, daigo is a beast and i'm not saying he should, just if he really wanted to show its the players skills rather than the characters strength, a low/lower tier would have silenced all comments)

Fei was rated higher then Yun/Yang by the big 3 (Tokido Mago and Daigo). but i guess we should take your word for it since you better then all three
stop crying and play the game for whatever time you have left with it, because i can assure you when 3rd Strike OE comes back you'll be wishing this is the Yun you fought (dont get me started on Whore-Li)

this whole time, we seen what he can do. anyone who says hes a bad player or that he should pick a lot-tier to prove his skill is an idiot (no offence). the guy has done things with the exact same characters everyone has his/her disposal and they still say "give us more to prove yourself."
give me a break. the guy doesnt need to prove anything. you can find a $hitload of Yuns out there and none of them equal Daigo. that should tell you something.

He says his sick of people questioning his skills, but this only adds to the fire, if anything Yun is deemed more easy and powerful than ryu, which means if anything people will shun his skill and say "its just yun that makes him so good" and others which liked him, may even become bored or feel less of him because he makes yun look so easy (prob not but still possible).
I suppose i just wanted to point out the potential catch 22 of his comment as his only making it worse for himself if picking Yun was intended to show his critics.

You people need to STFU and just play the game. It's just a game I'm so tired of hearing broken this or overpowered that. Some of you rage quitting losers need some serious help. I don't even use Yun and I could care less who uses him and beats me. I did use Sagat in Vanilla and all the messages I ever got online were like tier whore, you suck, cheap ass scrub, bla bla bla bla bla. Like who gives a crap. If you're going to cry over a game you should really re-evaluate your life. It was the same when I switched over to Rufus and Adon in Super and they weren't broken people still complained when playing online. Some of you just can't stand losing and that's the really truth. Sure I have lost to people who I thought I should have beat but, it happens it's not going to change anything other than some stupid win percentage that has nothing to do with real life. Also you losers need to keep you're hate mail to yourself when you get bodied online and stop making excuses like lag, or I would've beaten you offline (Like I Care). Are you that sad that you need to complain? Why not tell the whole world you're good at Street Fighter I'm sure that will impress all the girls lol. I've seen some of the same gamertags in Eventhubs so you people know exactly who you are. Also if you can't stand the way a patient player plays (turtling I guess) then don't play at all, I can tell some of you will never have a chance in 3rd Strike or in that case real life. Play the game, be happy, have fun and laugh it off.

And i only said picking lower tier would prove his point better rather than yun, and have shown the skill lies in the player more than the character (again he doesnt need to prove anything, plus why do it when when money and rep is on the line, survival of the fittest and all)

i respect all the pro players because they have devoted alot of time to get to that level, does not matter who they use.
There are my ppl online who trash talk and/or complain about their loses. For example, I was playing online the other day, I was using ken and was fighting a zangief,this guy has alot of pp and bp points but I won. He knew all the moves and combo but wasn't good. He had his mic on and throughout 2 rounds he was complaining about how I always hit him a few times and run away, he even msg me to stop running. I replied back and said "what do you want me to do, stand there and let you grab me?""is that how you get all your points?".. then he never replied back.
It's only a game, ppl should just play it for fun and stop complaining about how others play, or who they use, period.

Those matches were kinda boring, nothing exiting happened at all.
Well at least Daigo's matches arent so boring anymore. I hated watching his Ryu, Yun is alot more entertaining to watch Ryu no matter who using him

The thing with the Ryu match is You had to get through his zoning to beat him or he had to get in, neither one of those is a certainty in any given match. Watching a rushdown character who has such retarded options when they get in would be entertaining IF they didn't get in for free !
I think Yun being so strong in AE would probably be a good thing if Capcom hadn't taken a large dump on half of the SSF4 cast.
@21 but there weren't any feis in these vids right? anyhow they need to rebalance him as well, same goes for 75% of AE. Didnt Ono at some point admit that "AE is intentionally broken"? personally, i couldnt care less about the pros using the twins, or any other char for that matter, i just dont want to lose to people who are worse players than me. not to prove anything to anyone, but to save my equipment from rage. yun is costing me a lot of fking money man.
i liked the commenting on the first video. it gave me the sense that daigo is using yun because it's serious business now, and he's also proving a point. i like the boldness of "a sponsored player should never lose to a non-sponsored player (in a serious match)" mindset too.
@26 are you really crying about people taking this game seriously on a site for people who take street fighter seriously? you know just cuz someone has an opinion (which happens to be the general consensus anyway) doesnt mean that their losers or haters. some people do take this game seriously, not cuz they have no life but cuz they generally love the game. i feel you on the online scrubs beefing but cmon, who is more childish, the dude sending the message or the dude practically blogging about hating them? i think YOU should relax and just let people be people.
