Momochi always Fu<ks up in the end. even at SB5 against GamerBee he played like ass. im not saying im better or anything. he would whipe anyone at EventHubs no doubt. and im not taking anything from PoongKo, but im just stating the obvious. Momochi is losing his luster.

Even if he was loaned money he would be able to pay it back with his fight money you would make from EVO. There is no way he wouldn't place at LEAST top 3. Plus I want to see someone give Daigo a run for his money, literally.
He's a great player and I'm glad his play style is very aggressive but for anyone here to think cause he beat Momochi's yun that he's gonna take EVO from Daigo is an idiot...there's not 1 yun player that can come close to Daigo's yun and he prove it when he dominated 2 tourneys in the west coast easily. Now not saying the #2 yun player from japan ain't good cause he is but he wont beat Daigo in a tourney level best of 5 and quite frankly Daigo is gonna win evo whether Poongko is there or not. I just hope that the best players from Japan goes to Evo to have more different characters and plays styles in SSFIV AE.

Momochi just had one of those sets of games you have when every decision you make is a bad one.theres no denying theres is some luck involved in dominating a set . good to see it happends to the top tier

No doubt what you are saying is nothing but the truth. But he did make other VERY high level players look like idiots. Very similar to how Daigo makes other high level players look like idiots. Bottom line, if anyone is going to make Daigo sweat it is clearly Poongko. And quite frankly, I am sick and tired of Daigo.

keep kidding yourself with your bs " it's the player not the character " mantra, there are at least 20 characters in this game that Daigo couldn't win evo with, if it had nothing to do with the character Dan or Hakan would be winning majors.
Winners generally pick Top Tier Characters because they have the tools to get the job done.

I wouldn't even go that far car Tokido wasn't there and neither was infiltration which btw beats Poongko almost every time and he(infiltration) just beat poongko in a tourney not too long ago actually like 1 week ago. and you saw how easy Daigo dominated infiltration. Tokido would of def beat Poongko and IMO I think is gonna be Daigo vs Tokido in SSFIV AE finals at Evo. And as far as being tired of Daigo well I respect and admire skills especially someone who can lose a match and be able to disect a opponent quickly and turn his whole game around and you have to respect that.
get this guy to evo, he can ride with me when he gets to LAX. I'm serious.
@ #30 Tokido was there they didn't face each other in the tournament but he played Poongko in a money match. Tokido lost.

gotta look at it like a rock/paper/scissor game. Cant just go around thinking well daigo beat infiltration, so it mean he auto beats poongko aswell cause poongko loses to infiltration. There are different characters involved and playstyles which need to be taking into account. Inf and poongko play each other way too much so they are just that used to each other.
Also tokido says that yun gives akuma ALOT of problems.. which is another factor to keep an eye on. So with a bad match up and daigo excellent prediction skills(mixed with playing against tokido experience) would give him a headstart against infiltration. Seth isnt as exposed to them guys as much(i dont hear about hiropon)And in a tournament setting daigo and poongko may only run into each other once...maybe twice. And we all seen daigo having problems against unexperienced match ups the first time around.
So to accurately judge who would win in a scenario isnt as simple as you try to state it, too many possible variables which arent being mentioned. Personally i would like to see a zangief player take em both out or something :D
Would love to see Poongko playing at EVO ...Daigo's Yun is obviously at another level but Poongko learned the match-up in such a short amount of time is intriguing.
Thing about Seth though is that it is such an all-in character...I wouldn't be surprised if he gets random out.
A grand final of Daigo vs Poongko would be EPIC~
