@7 Asura comes from Asura's Wrath which is an Action Adventure game that comes Asian Mythology and SciFy. Plus he can grow up to six arms which means that could be a hyper. Triple Damage anyone??

#6 Yeah i haven't had too many problems with Pheonix myself but i really dislike the X-factor system.

massive nerfs for everyone please, as it is the game is all about giving one hit and following up with an endless combo, i would like to actually play the game, maybe its just me but this whole "make every character broken so the game is balanced" things doesnt work for me

Asura? Goodbye one of my characters, welcome Asura. Although the game isn't even out yet, and any move they show for him TBH is a spoiler for the main game so idk how they are gonna do that with the supers and whatnot.

But sounds goodddddd. I also like how peopple always want more chars when a game has 40 chars, and they mostly only play 6 max, bs I tell you! Not to mention that the chars they want, are mostly the chars they don't even play when they do get em. -moving on-

First things first... Asura would be awesome to see, but I don't think It'd make any sense to put a character who's game isn't out yet in this game. But, heck they can put in Stilt-Man for all I care. So what the heck, let's see what Asura can do! I'd imagine he'd have a little banter with Akuma, maybe a command grab, and maybe a 6-arm hyper-combo.

Just sayings it'd be fun, but we don't really know anything about him.

Second, can someone give me a link to a good Dormammu combo vid? It'd be such a big help.

@22 I doubt it.. If anything, they might just give him a super similar to arthur. Since all of his arms can fall off and he originally has 6 arms.

Asura would be totally bad ass, but they need to fix x factor first. Truly the only problem I have with the game.

Asure would just get banned like Oni.

The 6 arm concept would be pretty cool, more Capcom characters in MvC3 need this. We'll have to wait till Comic Con to see if this rumor is true.

Asura would be MAD but i have to question the accuracy of this since Asura's Wrath is not due untill next year so why would they release him in MVC3 months prior to the game's release?

#31 To build up hype for his upcoming game. Makes sense to me to showcase how crazy Asura is in MVC3.

If capcom was smart they would make him the anti phoenix in every way and it would be awesome advertisement for the new game.

Why is everyone complaining about Phoenix? Have you played MVC3 lately? If anyone needs a nerf around here, I think it should be Wolverine.

Also, thank you #12 for pointing out something that a lot of people are too dumb to figure out.

i hope capcom doesn't forget there classic ip's strider, megaman & captain commando. asura sounds cool but the game n character hasn't even prove themselves yet

lol that reboot of bionic commando kinda flew under the radar(i didnt know about it until i end up looking up the game), didnt stop capcom from throwing in spencer.
Plus from a character stand point the game could use someone else that looks odd. Seeing how i doubt they are ever gonna throw spiral into the game, might as well have someone else with 6 arms to break the normal cycle of humanoid characters. Ammy, modok, and shuma gorath could use a fourth buddy :D

the game looks pretty epic, he'll probably be a great addition to the roster, and I'll most likely buy the game as well.

I would love to see Ashura but I still want Gene in this.

If he really is going to be DLC for MvC3, then who would be a suitable opponent in the Marvel universe for him?

They put resources into games that makes CAPCOM happy. God Hand is NOT one of those games regardless of how popular he was in the recent poll and how perfect he is for this kind of game.

Capcom makes makes REALLY Dumb decisions recently incase you didnt know.

--Horrible ad campaign for MvC3, the new DmC, stealing indie games, leaving Megaman out of MvC3, Yun, Messing up orders from their store, no spectator mode and lack of features for MvC3.--

And for the record Capcom's been doing some really nice things too, in case you didn't know.

--Megaman Legends 3, Resident Evil CV and 4 in HD (Not to mention the upcoming 3ds game, RE Revelations), Street Fighter X Tekken, SF 3rd Strike online, TONS of Megaman toys set for US releases (and yet people still say they "forgot" about Megaman) and quite frankly, I'm looking forward to DmC and Asura's Wrath.--

Guess it's just a matter of opinion.
