Akuma unlockable in Street Fighter 4 Volt, screens and details

Capcom-Unity announced this morning that Akuma is an unlockable character in Street Fighter 4 Volt for the iPhone/iPod touch/iOS. They posted some screen shots and also details on how to make him playable.

Here's how to open him up.

• Play 100 multiplayer matches via Wi-Fi (Ranked or friend match) or Bluetooth. It doesn't matter if you win, lose, or tie, any match played with others counts!

• Second, completing Arcade Mode with 17 characters without using any continues. That's 3 rounds or more, any difficulty.

I already beat it with everyone to unlock DeeJay, I'm sure as hell not doing it again.

Guess I'll just have to grind out those 100 matches.

Is Arcade mode fighting 6 opponents, or 5? I realize it is about the same number of matches, but you don't have to worry about the no continues thing.

Its about 7 matches i think (ive never really counted )as you have to fight Akuma after bison, I had to google how to unlock him as i fought a guy a few days after launch who used him and i was like wtf

Ironic that all you had to do to unlock Akuma in MvC3 was beat the game once.

Now they want you to jump through hoops for him.

I didn't know that he was a secret character since day two of buying I versed a guy playing as Akuma on my very 4th match I played - that guy was serious business XD

KoF-i plays much better than the SF4s.

If you've jailbroken your iPhone and installed iFile, or can SSH into your device, you just have to replace one little file instead of repeatedly drain your battery for a crappy shoto.

Pretty cool that they have unlockables on these iOS ports.

Sorry but I couldn't help but chuckle at the people who found out about Akuma by facing him in an online match. I could just imagine playing like MvC3 online a few days after it came out and fighting like a cyclops or something.
