Dont get me wrong, I don't think Chun Li is super good or anything, but I do think she is horribly underrated as of right now....a lot of the characters that aren't upper tier still have a decent amount of potential, people just don't bother because in most cases it might not be worth the effort....for me that is a part of enjoying the game though, learning new things, exploring possibilities with those who aren't always the most popular.
Even some characters that I think mind end up top tier are being over looked because they aren't as easy to use, I dunno....it's a bit sad
same am good at fightin games but mvc3 for me you have to have some jerk off hands or on cr**k to play this everything so dam fast and not to many 'D' like who every hits first its game over for me still gonna keep playin it and hopefully get a stick p.s
CAN'T WAIT FOR SF 3RD ONLINE ED!!!!
#3 jerk of hands lol so true #2 i agree seening these combo videos of chun li on mvc3 it is sad that she gets underated because u haveta put a little more effert into her is just plane stupid heck i dont even see very many chun players in ssf4 ae at least not many good ones and shes my favorite fighter hmmm i dont know maybe im just over reacting but still all these combo videos of people showing skill with her yet still nobody picks her to me that just aint fare.
I fought one guy early on that pulled an infinite, and really to expand on what I was saying in the first place - I'm just not a fan of juggle heavy games and tag systems - Tekken, DOA, etc. Its not too much for me though with SFxT, I think (played it at EC3 and had a good time).
Said it before, I'll say it again. I'm new enough to fighting games, and I definitely wouldn't say I'm ready for tournaments...I'm not terrible, but far from good or anything like that. MVC 3 is just not the thing for me to jump into when you've got professionals who are so far beyond an average player starting - and I like the more personal action of SF anyway.
@8: The problem with Chun-Li is you need PERFECT execution to do even moderate damage, and you can get much better results with virtually anyone else.
Pretty cool since I lovelovelove Chun and Storm, but at the same time, just makes me regret buying MVC3 more and more. Being new to fighting games and seeing infinites out there was just a huge turnoff - not my kind of gameplay.
Still, kudos to the people with the skill to execute it and patience to deal with it on either end.
