This is why I dont understand why tournaments are taken seriously. how can you take a fighting game with infinite combo's so seriously? At least its pretty to watch.

Not like MvC2 has been /the/ tournament game for the last 10 years or anything. Yeah, games with infinite are totally not tournament viable, no one plays them at all.

@EskimoHunter You bets be troll because none x-factor/super power infintes get taken out within a week in mvc3 remeber dantes wheasle shot one? How that lasted about a day. Cpt's sheild slash infinate oh how we had fun with that for about 3 days.

I think Clockw0rk could be so much deadlier with someone other than Phoenix on his team. That match against NerdJosh definitely shows how scary he can be when he's free to unload meter.

It's been a long while since I've paid attention to Marvel. I really enjoyed Cl0ckwork's game. At the same time, it's kind of sad to see how much Phoenix can do on her own.

I was JUST watching this. Ill take back what I said..Phoenix DOES ruin the game. As Dave himself even said, ''Clockworks is actually dominating in all the matches, its just the phoenix he loses'' he is def. the better player.

But same goes for Richard. As also the commentators noted, he is limiting a lot of his Dante stuff BECAUSE he has phoenix, his dante would be even crazier if he could use bar \:...

pheonix is such a dumb character.. so random.. even the better player would loose to her randomness and massive chip... ban her from tournaments.. i dont even like watching her

it's such a shame to see clock lose when he's clearly the superior player. richard's dante is nothing to mess with, but his haggar is trash and being random with phoenix is the only thing that won him those matches. it's just sad, really.

One cannot help but to feel that Phoenix ruins the game...if only Richard didnt hold back that much because of her I bet we would have seen some really nice Dante combos.

You People are so stupid....It's because of Phoenix Richard's Dante plays the way he does, a comboing meter building Machine. When he's not playing against another Phoenix and being scared (which is expected phoenix is intimadating) he spends the meter and easily builds it back up......Clorkwork is so beastly because he's Clorkwork... but he loves Phoenix because of her Strider properties (he a pro and know what he is doing)....You people are looking to complain because you can't comprehend the powers of Phoenix! You get Blown up when you try and play her, and murdered when you play against her.......SMH SCRUBS
