Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 miniature figures

A few new Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 miniature figurines will be made available in the future. The first set is from KidRobot and it has the original 12 fighters seen in the Street Fighter 2 series. Here are a few screens.

Also, if you're more of a fan of the Vs. series, there are Marvel vs. Capcom 3 mini-mates, which you can check out after the jump.

You dont get to choose which figure you get. Kid Robot toys in that size are sold in a "blind box", meaning you dont know which one is inside. Some will be more rare than others. I imagine the alt Sim and Blanka with be the 1/50 variants.

Ryu, Ken, Chun, Blanka, E Honda, Guile, Zangief, Dahlsim, Balrog (boxer), Vega (claw), and Bison (Dictator)

It sucks that it's a blind box oriented collection. I think more people would buy if it wasn't. I mean, I don't want to waste loads of cash just to get a specific character. This isn't a trading card game so it's rather odd that they went with that format. I guess I'll just wait till someone sells the whole collection cheap on eBay.

Not odd at all. This is what KidRobot always does, it's the way they sell their products.

There are alternate colors for some or all the cast.
If you look at the pic where all the cast ( almost) is shown, you can see a red gi ken.

Okay, just an FYI for the uninformed.
The blind box concept, Kid Robot has been doing this... For YEARS. The point of this is to buy something from the collection, not know what it is, and if you have something you already have, you trade it with someone for something else. So yes, essentially, this IS a trading card game. They have other collections as well, eg: Family Guy, Simpsons, Spongebob, etc. As I said, they have been doing this for YEARS, so all you people that are complaining about this concept, now you know and don't complain.
