Super Street Fighter 4 appeared in the top 5 of MetaCritic's best rated video games of 2010, on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, coming in 3rd and 5th place, respectfully.

Back in July 2010, Capcom noted that the game outsold their initial sales predictions of 1.1 million and had hit 1.35 million units world wide, a number which has only grown by this time.

With the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 right around the corner, there should be even more good news, as company vice president, Christian Svensson, expects MvC3 to outperform vanilla Street Fighter 4 from a sales stand point.

Capcom's fighting games have not only been performing well in sales, but also getting a lot of acclaim from the press, which is great news for the community, and should ensure we get to see a steady supply of new titles/content in the future.
