I would never understand why they choose cvip for mvc3. Theres so many other good choices, a spy, kinda wack, and not a good one at that. Rufus and el fuerte would be cool. Abel, juri, hell dan to. But wheres bison and sagat??? These beginning/ending credits are pretty cool.

I've always wondered what Sagat would be like in a Marvel crossover. Would he have a Tiger Shot Beam? I dunno, he just seems a bit too tame to fit in with the rest of the over-the-top cast.

Anyway, must resist watching this...

Viper's gameplay is the most conducive to MvsC's intensity. Bison's pressure game wouldn't really translate in a game with super jumps and air blocks (he was okay in Xmen Vs Street Fighter, but JUST okay). Fuerte's design is bland and his gameplay-style is narrow. Putting him in would just be a waste. Juri is nice, but she doesn't really have an established fan base yet. Other than tournament players, no one plays Rufus, so he's out of the picture. Sagat has the tools to be good in a crossover game, but with a design that looked bad even in 1987, no one outside of the SF franchise is going to appreciate him.

And if Dan made it in over Ken and Sakura, we'd have to burn down Capcom.

I was wondering when they would release the final part of the epic intro series. I know they didn't officially release it but this one was great.

The 3rd part they released was a bit disappointing but this one tops it. Certainly didn't have enough villains IMO. All there seemed to be was Mag, Doom, Super Skrull, Dormammu. Didn't see Akuma in there. Oh well.

Nice cast. looking forward to Super Skrull, Spencer, and Phoenix.

are X-23 and Deadpool villains in this game?! in the artwork at the end of video 1 they're facing against the heroes, and as you can see heroes on the left villains on the right. however in the previous trailers she's seen as a good guy, and deadpool seems neutral

I knew Eighting had something to do with this, when you defeat your opponent with a light attack, they fall their knees and then collapse, just like in the Naruto: Clash of Ninja games. I love their work.

Epic intro. Also, Ryu may have been fighting 5 super villains. At 2:45-2:50 you see Galactus' head in the shadow of the cloud behind all the villains.

Don't be a retard, its marvel.
Their full of people with mutant powers and villains with the same thing(except magneto whose destroying all mutants) and each series is the same thing with some personality.
Marvels classic everyone loves them and you can't go wrong but in terms of creativity and variety capcom's better.

Otherwise it would've been a game full of super mutants with different traits. In terms of strength is why this game exists just because the xmen have super powers doesn't mean viewtiful Joe and others can't beat them,were just assuming everything from their games.

Not sure if anyone noticed, but not only did Viewtiful Joe have a Captain America costume on, he had some hanging up in his closet for Wolverine, Spiderman, and... She-Hulk. I had to rewind to look at the third costume in the closet again. Definitely She-Hulk's and definitely worth a lol if they make all four of those his alts as dlc. I'd definitely buy ''em. Hehe
Oh, and in all fairness, Capcom's side, when compared to the Marvel side, appeals to some people, like myself, as underdogs, in the whole idea of a crossover like this. Ryu, for instance, may not be a mutant, but he is pretty damned superhuman, just being able to throw fireballs and shoot beams from his hands or even jump as high as he does, without super-jumping. So you say he's weak...? Unless YOU can do even one of his special moves like he does, I'm pretty sure YOU couldn't last against any single ONE of those villains he was facing off with in that video. The idea of him fighting all of those bad guys WITH Galactus backing them is a hell of a lot more "super" than some mutant with claws or eye beams. You see Scott out there, soloing those raid bosses...? I rest my case. Now shut your d*mned mouth, sit the f*ck down, and pick up your sticks, because I'll make it a point to play nothing but Capcom characters and dominate you EVERY time, once the game comes out, just to embarrass you in front of your friends, family, and your pet hamster. Friggin' fanboys. If you don't like the game, go play MKvsDC or a WWE game. Maybe John Cena is more to your liking. ***Selects Chun Li and uses her Juggernaut Headcrush on you***

C. Viper and Rufus have pretty much the same amount of players playing them according to the various stats posted on this site. It's a damn shame, I think Rufus was hands down the greatest new fighter introduced in SFIV. Viper pisses me off, because Capcom pushes her so freaking hard on the player base and it's getting old.
