Posted by Jonathan 'Catalyst' Grey • January 31, 2011 at 9:23 p.m. PST
A Marvel vs. Capcom 3 launch party will be held in the San Francisco Bay Area on February 10, 2011, a few days before the game is officially released.

All of the details were recently posted on Capcom-Unity, but here's the flyer and a copy and paste of the details.

Not only will we have a final build of the game there for all to play but we will have live music, good grub and special guest appearances by MVC3 Producer, Ryota Niitsuma and Special Advisor, Seth Killian. They will be there hanging out, signing stuff and schooling you at MVC3.

We will also have Super Street Fighter 3D edition there for only the second time at a public showing. Get a taste for this powerhouse portable on the Nintendo 3Ds for the first time.

We will be raging from 8pm to midnight with musical guests DJ QBert, David Banner, the Hieroglyphics and one suprise guest. Nope, not telling!

No need to RSVP. First come, first serve. More details coming soon but mark your calendar now and save that date!

Things like this make me wish I lived on the west coast. Ugh.

Thank god I live in California so I can attend all these events. The love for California and nobody else is much appreciated :)

That sounds sarcastic, and it would be if I didn't actually live in California.

Even if every state had it, those of us living in the sticks would still be left out. Seattle is ~4 hours away, but I could potentially cross the eastern border...

Ahh, very clever of me not to check the URL after posting that image. Bleh, it's fixed now. Sorry about that.

It sucks that Capcom rarely does stuff on the East Coast. I think Washington D.C. would be a great place to hold events, plus we have really good players.

(David Banner, Hiero, Qbert...? Why West Coast, effffffffffff.

I'm not 21, but still, it's the PRINCIPLE of the matter.)
