Here's a little blurb from the site.
There is $30,000 dollars on the line, $5,000 dollars for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, $5,000 dollars for BlazBlue Continuum Shift, and $20,000 for Super Street Fighter 4. The biggest names in fighting games are planned to appear and join the fray. Tournament Legacy hopes that people traveling far and wide to attend E3, would just take a couple more days to relax in the City of Angels to join the frenzy at this amazing fighting game event, Revelations. A way to level up for EVO, tons of money at stake, and the fiercest competition? Only the craziest would pass this up.

$20,000 for SSF4! Damn, that's a load of wonga. I'm sure we'll get people from far and wide attending this event.
$20.000!
Damn I wish I was good enough to compete. Some people barely make that in a year. smh good luck to the competitors
lol@least talent where blazblue and a new game are involved
Really? Tournament Legacy is seriously only using chocolate SSFIV? The tourney is in June which will be 7 months since AE came out. By then, hardcare players from Japan and Europe are used to playing AE and will not be pleased by playing an old edition of the same game. It's like playing SF Hyper Edition in a tourney when HD Remix is out. It does not make sense imo. Not to a sense where they're trying to attract top players around the world to participate.
@RandomJohn
You think these dudes care about a version of the game when the prize is $20,000?
I arrest my case.
That arguement is fruitless. That logic mean BlazBlue would need its Continuum Shift 2 update as well. Different times call for adjustments. Arcades are dead and consoles have always been the main format for US tournaments anyway. If it bothers you that much then wait till next year for your "definitive version" tourneys.
I'm amongst the craziest....I'll pass on this >.<
