Glad to see these again, but I see these often anyway. I still play vanilla.
Some of these were sweet, like the Fuerte/Spiderman or the Fei Long/Liu Kang. The Fuerte/Ghandi though...?
I really love how they managed to get the move-swaps done and kept their faces and stuff all good, too.
That's one thing I kinda disliked about the moveswaps that I usually seen, it made the characters look all screwed up and stuff. This one's really good. For some reason, I chuckled a lot at the Gouken-Ryu and Ryu-Sakura. XD
I can (somewhat) appreciate the work that people put in these skins, but some are just....wth. you got Morrigan doin Guiles moves & you got Viper doin Bisons moves. Not to mention a Pikachu looking Blanka? Also, a Ryu skin for Gouken? Come on now. A few look kinda cool (the Yuri skin for Sakura & the Robert skin for Dan are cool), the skin switch (a Sakura skin for Ryu) was just wrong. Just my opinion.
See how godly the end is with ryu and liu... MK vs SF
and more stages for ssf4 please
This video is awesome! Ever since SF4 was released on the PC, it provided unlimited possibilities and this is no exception.
PC version only hahahaha!!!
It's funny cuz it's true. It's like saying "F**k you console queers, we've made our own version of Street Fighter. PC Edition!!!"
that was pretty awesome. I always like to see the creativity of the modders
SSFIV was never released because of piracy (obvious) and because they knew it was the middle edition of the game. Putting out the middle edition on a modible platform would have divided the market too thin. With the AE console version you can expect a PC to follow within a year. For prosperity's sake. I assume.
Nice Sagat Kenpachi.
I was impressed by this Cell

PC IS the best SF....full 1080P in massive customizable glory, whether Capcom wants to support it or not.
This is just a small sample of how...
P C F T W.
@17 I think he meant PC which is what this video is from for Street Fighter IV (Vanilla).
@16 To answer your question in present tense; It's taking long because of two things, sales versus number of pirated copies. The second and biggest reason is that the SFIV team is busy with SSFIV 3D and SSFIV AE stuff as well as Street Fighter X Tekken. and SF3 3rd Strike Online Edition. They just don't have the time and money right now. But they show heavy interest.
If they're going to release it for PC, they shouldn't be concerned with mods. Once they have someone's money, they should be able to do what they want with the game. The PC is an open and flexible platform, and that's also why many people won't touch console games for such a flexible platform. xD
The best way would probably be to do a petition and tell capcom you will pay for it (just get like 2 million to sign lolz). There's really nothing you can do to stop piracy, just like you can't stop people from speeding.
"PC IS the best SF....full 1080P in massive customizable glory" ~ Blankabeast
Yeah, you do realize your still playing regular SF4 right? We've had SSF4 for almost a year now & in case you haven't heard it has 8 returning characters, 2 brand new characters, 4 brand new stages (not retexured), new ultras, new online modes, character themes for everyone, & Sagat doesn't rule the game.
You PC suckers have fun with your vast array of costumes & sit around & petition for SSF4 while the rest of the world plays MvC3 in two weeks, either way you'll be getting none of them anytime soon..... but again PC FTW right?
@BlankaBeast. Many people do play SSF4 on HDTV's. Same with Vanilla SF4. Now if its full 1080p or 720p I belive it shouldn't matter. The game still looks great in HD. Don't get me wrong, most of the skins do look cool, but others are just "no way". Guile as Morrigan...Ryu as Sakura...that's a "no way". Still, its cool that the skins are free (I believe).
Gotta love the envious console player pissing over this thread. If you clearly don't care, why respond? Still, Sturmgeists response is the best, full with anger and envy. Go for it, man! LOL!
PC FTW absolutly!
@Von_Kunlun_BOOF
"F**k you console queers, we've made our own version of Street Fighter. PC Edition!!!"
lol, Are you serious?
We console users had Capcom working for us and just 5% of what they added for us on Super is enough to add more to the gameplay experience than the entire stuff you can work your ass off and add or edit on your "PC Edition".
But I understand the obvious frustration of PC users, easly. I just don't understand why they are all so childish and still want to make everyone believe that they think PC version is superior because of this. When every single one is aware that this is nothing compared to the SSFIV that console users can play.
lol pc-users, u jelly?
lol blankabeast always in every article comments section that has anything to do with pc sf4, and sometimes even when it doeen't. get a life.
lol ugly custom skins
lol moveswaps
lol ssf4 will never come out to pc. capcom rather made it for the 3ds (lol), which tells exactly how much the pc is worth as a gaming platform these days
#49 it's Gouken's Ultra 1. Ryu's Ultra 2 turns the background totally white and has much more emphasis on chin destruction
I miss PC gaming. On a Console you can't mod anything.
The thumbnail of Robert and Uri got me interested cause I play Art of Fighting 2 online.. it was nice to see those "2" skins.. but man.. when I saw all the goofy stuff like bland textures and those silly shared movesets that screw up the limb positioning.. it just got retarded to look at...
The haggar and hollywood hogan ones were cool.
When you start seeing stuff like 0:40 0:49 1:19 yellow skin... 1:25 LOL.. Pause at 1:29 see Honda's pose? See what I mean when you put movesets on other characters?.. it messes up their limbs, stances and animation.. 2:08 there's another example.. look at ryu's arms.. lol. Most of this stuff is really goofy.. about 10% of it is good..
#23 Actually.. the only modifications the community can make to this game with the limited tools.. are texture changes and move swaps..
#25 You've gotta be bored of Super and AE to truly wanna try this "Goofy Fighter 4 PC Edition".. =p Some mods on PC are good but some are just downright poorly constructed/lazy effort which result in a bad final product. This mod is nothing to praise over unless you like goofy stuff.. =p
#36 Despite PC version being "customizable".. without capcom releasing an SDK, you guys can't "redo the entire game" You are very limited on what you can do. =p And in this sense, it's only sound pack, texture changes and move swaps <-- this is the hilarious one. =p If you guys had Super SF4 then maybe you could say that but for now, you guys are stuck on SF4 which has less then what Super and AE have. I think more people play Super and AE now anyways.
@51
you'd have to be retard to think that that post was serious...
@53
I love how you try to turn you're opinions in to "facts" :)
I own a PS3 and a "Gaming-PC" and I can tell you that gaming on PC is better if you like playing competitive and/or being social. Just simple things like being able to type in game with a keyboard, talking to your friends via skype/vent/teamspeak while playing, Inviting your friends in to a game even while they are not gaming, creating a clan etc.
It's this that make PC gaming superior to consoles IMO, this and ofc the ability to use a keyboard + mouse for RTS/FPS/(MMO)RPG. The games are cheaper to. Consoles are good in the way that they are easy to set up and use, ones plugged in, all you have to do is turn it on, put in a disc and you are ready for gaming. In the end, it all comes down to preference.
And to all the dickriders out there.
Most of you haven't even tried PC gaming and are still bashing it. Don't speak of sh*t you know nothing about, this goes to the PC dickriders as well...
Doraemon boxer cracked me up badly. That's so hilarious.
A company can never be as creative as thousands of people collaborating on ideas and creating new experiences (think open source software). Any game in general is better on PC, simply because hardware on a console doesn't touch the latest and greatest for custom desktops.
I play on both the PC and PS3, so I would know.
If Capcom has something against modding, they don't know anything about what the PC is as a platform or what it provides.
Still, I think the main reason is money. And seeing as Capcom wants to charge every opportunity they get....
SSF4 PC would be the best version of the game:
- PC graphics are not limited to a few resolutions with no antialiasing and stuff (like on PS3)
- PC supports ALL the peripherals out there, i can play all my friends with X360/PS3 gamepads & sticks
- PC version doesn't have the "native" 1 frame input lag of the PS3 version
- loading times on PC are better
- PCs are multitasking, i can have any program i'm interested in on the second monitor (instant messenging client to organize matches quicker, a web browser to do stuff between sets etc.)
- GFWL while being pretty crappy, it's one class above PSN
- my PC is always on, when i feel like testing something in training mode i just launch the game (instead of 1. turning on the TV, 2. boot the PS3, 3. put the disk in, 4. launch the game)
- on PC i can play the game without a useless DVD (if i buy it from Steam)
etc.
PC always was and always will be the best platform for gaming. consoles are just toy computers.
@65 - Word.
Plus no console country restrictions, I play people in china and thailand all the time. Unlike consoles where they split up online via your region.
PC FTW and always will!
pretty cool giving ryu gouken's moves so he can do a metsu shoryuken in vanilla
Oh my god. Robert and Yuri! I can't even tell that Robert's Dan or Dan's Robert or whatever!
