Nice wake up options. I honestly tought this was a bad matchup for honda. But i dont play these two. I think some attacks whiff on hakan because he's so low to the ground while jumping. Nice video but i dont think ehonda players will fall for these tricks, but who knows there the most aggressive.
WoW Had no clue that hakans ultra 2 beats out hondas ex heatbutt. I think we need to see more honda, hakan and el fuerte tutorials on match ups. I think ehonda is a very hard matchup against el fuerte. Just my opinion.
He forgot one setup. When honda does a jumpin, hakan can anti air with f.mp. When this is near ground, he can 360LK honda. Honda can't crouch ;P. And when honda has no meter, hakan can pressure him like a cockroach, with his j.mk. And when oiled, dnc the second hit, like focus xx f.mp, slide.
I'm a 10,000+ BP Hakan, but this match is still pretty hopeless for me. You have to use a lot of jumping medium kicks, as it's really his only solid defense against an EX headbutt. Regular headbutts can be punished by a hard oil slide if you use them immediately after the block, but the timing is tight.
These are my two mains. And sadly, the "tips" in this video are obvious and don't improve the match up at all. Like Akuma/Zangief, some match ups just slip through the cracks.
Just c.RH option selects and a just out of range chop. Really your best options sadly. Oh, and use U1 for punishing jump-in and headbutts.
Besides that I refuse to give out my secrets.
I know of better ways to deal with E.honda as hakan without using U2 and its solid.
Honda is soooo screwed now. He is gonna get gang raped and molested by the Turkish army of Hakans. LOL.
All kidding aside, just jab + HHS instead of all that buttslam/headbutt reversals and Hakan has nothing on Honda.
Plus, if you are that stupid to try to buttslam while a good Hakan player has U2, then you deserved to be violated by the Oily Turk.
