The next Marvel vs. Capcom 3 characters — who should be Sentinel and Hsien-Ko given recently leaks — will be officially announced in a week, company vice president, Christian Svensson, revealed in a live Ask Capcom session today.• The next characters for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be officially announced in the next week.
• A redone version of Street Fighter Alpha 3 is not in development as this time, but Svensson said he wouldn't mind for it to be. He feels there are some cool things they could do with Alpha. It sounds like this is something Capcom is going to revisit at some point in the future, he did mention it's still a question mark at this point, though.
• Super Gem Fighter, the PlayStation 1 version, was recently approved to go up on the PlayStation Network. Svensson said it should be up in a few months.
• Capcom has looked into releasing SSF4 AE into American arcades, the mechanics and the costs involved wasn't as attractive as they would have liked, but they're still exploring some western release opportunities for their arcade games, though.
• As previously announced, user-submitted artwork will in some way be involved in Street Fighter 3 Third Strike Online Edition.
• Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting (Turbo) was a port, not a game that ran under emulation.
I guess after the next reveals they will ship the game.

Well, Monday January 31 is the day we'll see the last 2 Character announcements.
Although the Sentinel picture is legit, he is STILL not confirmed. What if this was a beta build, and just like Frank West was scrapped, Sentinel could be scrapped as well because Marvel wanted to represent some other character. If that is true that would mean Sentinel could be DLC.
I bet money the characters will be revealed tomorrow at the Gamespot/Capcom tournament.

If sentinel was on the comic then he will be in just end it already.
I hope they pull a fast one on us and announce Sent and Hsien Ko as DLC and announce 2 totally new characters. Just to spite Lupinko, although he'd be technically right, it just wouldn't be completely accurate. Either way, we're getting them and then some.
It's Hsien-ko and sentinel definitely 100%, but i just want to see some amazing gameplay vids and some cool intro quotes maybe?
I'd love it if on the announcement it was like "UZUMAKI NARUTO and MAGIKARP ARE ANNOUNCED".

I laugh whenever I read a comment demanding the reveal of so-and-so in MVC3, only to then complain about how predictable the reveal was when they do confirm them.

Sentinal was pretty scary in mvc2. Wonder what he has in store now. I rather see 3rd strike online, but sfalpha3 max is not bad either. I think the only coolest character from darkstalkers is Jedah, and that vampire guy, just my opinion. Im hoping they changed there minds on these two but i doubt it.
