• Edge Online has an interview with Ryota Niitsuma coming up tomorrow, but they posted an excerpt today saying that an arcade version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will, "definitely be considered," if the title sells well.
• The World Game Cup 2011 will be held from Feb. 25-27 in Cannes, France and there will be a SSF4 Arcade Edition 3v3 tournament with a Tougeki (Super Battle Opera) spot up for grabs. Other Capcom fighters being played are: Marvel vs. Capcom 3, SF3 Third Strike and SSF2T. One of the stream addresses for this competition has been setup on Justin.tv. If you'd like to attend, you can find a listing of inexpensive hotels and places to stay here. There's a full schedule for each of the games being played on the official WGC site linked above, where you can also register.
• Bastien Vives posted some gender bender Street Fighter artwork, showing male cast members as females, and vice versa. This is going to be hit or miss content for most of you. Sent in by NobleEskimo, Da5starrmd and Stingah.
• On Capcom-Europe they have a Mad Cakes Tournament Edition FightStick, which is a cake made to look like a TE stick.
Something about that bison scream tiger woods LOL, alex is (un)fortunate enough to not need a name change with that maneuver. Cammy and Elena still appear to be chicks, dont seem to fit the theme they was going for.
I will eat a hamster if arcade MVC3 is released*
* I won't really eat a hamster but I will be quite pleased with the news
BTW Beat By Contest is one week before WGC. F-Word, Dawgtanian, Dieminion and myself are going to both on an epic two-week trip. I will be documenting it and hopefully throwing up some kind of highlights video afterwards!
I love how some of you people bash the art for no apparent reason.

Bison's new alt please
to #21 i don't want to sound harsh but yes thats different...if you say I love how people didn't like an art without apparent reason - sounds reasonbale, seems most of the time people can't argument their point of view and say just HATE or something similar instead...i love how some people admire the art for no apparent reason - sounds like an insult and trolling to people, who disagree with them...
I don't understand why people should have to explain themselves if they don't like something.
Personally, the trans-gender art was a miss for me.
I wish things were like the early 90's having an arcade game first and then a console release.
(That French artist needs to take a lesson from Midnight Bliss. But Preppy Bison and....'disturbing' Sagat were pretty lol.)
They could have atleast tried making those artworks look more appealing. I've seen female versions of Blanka and Akuma sometime ago that actually had potential, but these are just disturbing, especially Deejay's and Balrog's version. Lol
Anyway, there's no need for a T.Hawk female counterpart as two exist already somewhere in Tekken. I think one of them was named Julia Chang, but I don't remember the other. I wonder if a quick female counterpart to T.Hawk would have made a difference in character popularity had she debuted in SF2 instead T.Hawk, same with Abel.
Yea would of been nice if Abel plan to originally be a chick went through, perhaps by the name abella or something LOL. Getting man handled by a chick that isnt makoto would be a good change of pace.
That artwork was not only insulting everything I stand for but it also sucked.
