I swear I hate Sim, never have and never will like him. Some of Sim matches are so ridiculous in his favour it makes using those characters no fun. Sim is the definition of LAME and I swear one of these days my Gief, Dudley or Hakan will get the better of him.

Yeah poor mike ross trying to qualify for sbo at planet zero, when they screwed over the winners of last years sbo qualifier, claimed it wasn't a qualifier and sent a houston team instead....I live in houston but our scene is currupt and I cannot endorse a corrupt arcade, planet zero is banned from srk for their shady corruption.

Monsters arcade is a great arcade, 5-6 bucks to play all night instead of 1.25 a game at PZ which you have to wait an ungodly amount of time just to play.
About Sim, he has a few bad match-ups....
Match-ups not in his favor include: Fei Long, Cammy, Abel, El Fuerte, etc...
It's the "fast" rush down characters that Sim can't keep out that are his weakness. Filipino Champ recently lost to a good Abel and someone said it looks like it's 9-1 (I lol'd but it's probably not that bad). Sim is great against other zoning characters, Like Ryu and Guile. And since they are popular, that's probably why they dislike Sim.
But Sim takes skill to play well, and his mind games are amazing. I play Gief and I do my best when fighting Sim players. Motha Russia!

Agreed for the most part. Dhalsim's character advantages and disadvantages are IMO too disparate, which results in most of the Sim QQ we see on EventHubs. In other words, any match-up that is in Sim's favor makes it very hard for the opposing character to win(more so than most match-ups), while match-ups that aren't in Sim's favor makes it very hard for Sim to win.
I do believe, however, that Sim has more good match-ups than bad.
If you look at a matchup-based tier list, Honda will always place higher than Dhalsim and Seth even though they go even with the majority of the cast and have the least amount of really bad matchups. Why? Because Honda absolutely wrecks half the cast. This inflates his overall matchup total even though he has more bad and less 5-5 matchups than Dhalsim and Seth.
Yea, noone needed severe nerfs in this game at all, trying to please people who have no interests in learning is a bad thing.
That being said, there's always marvel 3 and looks like AE is delayed even longer for home...so goodtmes

Well i already heard that this game wasnt to be used for evo from a reliable source, and DLC was supposed to be summer earliest.
By then people will already love MVC3 and will have practiced super so the abomination of nerfs caused by "players" like you will be thankfully avoided by anyone who wishes.

Honda's worst match ups are always the top tier characters for some reason. This makes him a really tough character to play competitively with, despite what people complained about his damage. As a Honda player I'm glad people can't turtle all day but as a fellow "Mike Ross" style jumper Honda, the news is sad. At least I still have Hakan and Ibuki, right? Right?
I've read ibuki is better...hakan didn't get nerfed so ofcourse he's not going to be worse or anything...
well honda was very powerfull in super, you say hes bad matchs were top tiers, well I dont know if you know this but... all the damn low and medium tiers have bad match with top tiers, the diference with honda is that he have a very good advantage with medium/low tiers so I really think he had more oportunities to be competitive than others.
And one more thing, honda was nerfed but other top tiers/high tiers too like guile, ryu, dalshim were nerfed too (those seems to be bad match for honda) So I believe he will stay the same in that, but with less advantage in medium/low tiers, so thats balance
@ Spaniard :: Read into it more than just SRK. Of course they're biased for "shady actions" towards PZ because of the past, but if you read PZ's side of the story such as the sh*t on their forums, you would understand it better.
Btw, I believe Suavion and his team WERE from Houston, throwing SRK in your name does not make your words any more reputable.
Yeah problem is all the 2nd place team players claim they were able to fly to japan, but that douche brian gave the spots to pz regulars.
Whatever the case may be, PZ didn't care to explain the situation to anyone, thus forcing mr. wizard to banish them from srk.
Actually I looked into and he was confronted straight up about not paying Japanese players their money following tournament they used bucktooth as a mediator for this and PZ told him to f off, plus he avoided the questions like crazy which is what led to them being blackballed from the list. An interesting note is that in both occasions the team that his boy Kensou was in is always the selected and in SF4 they finished third and never bothered to inform team 2 that they had a shot until way too late in which they already had moved on, which would have been vastly different if they informed them in a timely manner. Heck two players from the 2nd place team confirm this.
Even the Smash community avoids them because of the skimming from the pot and GG players never trusted them after the SBO qualifiers in which guess who Kensou was chosen to replace another member who supposedly could not go.

Also kensou claims Tokido will be coming to anime matsuri, i asked him via twitter and he said he will not be participating at showdown in houston.
Sadly no box just a PS3 same as my user name true kensou only gets the spot because he is pz main defender it's sad that not just the sf community but other fighting communities have been hit by this maybe if he quit spending on car shows he would be able to pay those guys

Yeah defending pz, yet kensou never qualifies yet always goes to sbo without earning it. Don't understand how anyone can defend that sort of crooked track record.
As a Honda main, all they had to do to even Honda out was nerf his damage output on stuff like headbutts. But they nerfed his bread and butter like jumping forward and stuff like that which changes everything he has to counter air to air attacks.
His matchups with Chun Li and Guile only got better in Super from Vanilla because of his Jumping Forward priority because everything else gets stuffed when they play turtle style against him. So now, its "almost" impossible to get in on a good Chun Li or Guile player that throws fireballs and wait for you to jump in.
Anyways, I hope they bring out another edition with better buffs, versus nerfs when it comes out on DLC. I feel for Ross and others in the Honda army if AE is going to be the new standard.
And a personal rant. Why did they change the Ultra 2 motion??? KEEP IT as 720 and I will even take the crappy range from Super.
