Some details about how the 'figurine' or Street Pass mode in the 3DS version of Super Street Fighter 4 works were posted by 3dsbuzz.com. When you’re ready to put your 3DS into sleep mode, you can select a team of 5 fighters. If you pass someone else with street pass set up, the two teams will do battle.
But how is the winner decided? It’s all based on stats. Similar to a Role Playing Game, each fighter has a strength level, hit points and attack points. As you take part in more battles, you’ll gain experience for your team members. From a screenshot I saw at the round table (which we weren’t allowed to take photos during), there is also an “SC” stat and one other stat which was obscured behind some presentation graphics. Any suggestions what these could be are welcome.
The way this will work is likely to be that each fighter will be randomly paired with one from the other team. The character will lose a number of hit points depending on the level and other stats of their opponent. The team who wins the most matches out of 5 is the overall winner. You won’t won’t to stick with the same team of 5 on each outing since after a few battles, your fighters will be low on hit points.
SC probably means super combo, and the one under it is probably UC for ultras.
