Rather it is fake or not, I won't count Ono's tweet as false just yet because the endings for evil ryu and Oni has been taken down by youtube and so is the video where it shows their ultras and supers. However there are still videos out there people playing Oni and E. Ryu. But at the same time, we haven't seen any vids from Japan yet.
I guess Capcom never heard of the Streisand Effect or Project Chanology. The more you try to hide something on the internet, the more people will show it.

@#39: Images of a supposedly legitimate tweet that Ono sent out earlier. It states that Capcom is pushing back the release date of the Super SFIV DLC due to the premature reveals of Evil Ryu and Oni.
Ironically, as butthurt and irrational Capcom is in their damage control (such as deleting YouTube accounts and videos), this character trait is also mutually shared by a lot of the fans. You know, the douchebags who complained like little spoiled girls over the fact that there are now an additional two shoto-clones for everyone to enjoy.

People have the right to complain about shoto clones. Usually I hate it when people cry for no reason, but this is a good reason. We did not need two more shoto clones, the only good thing about this will be variety in the scrubs I crush. That is it.
So, I'm guessing arcade owners know about the rest of the characters. They had to have known about Evil Ryu and Oni since they were told not to release the characters until later on. If that's the case, fess up. Who are the other characters? Someone here has to be an owner of an arcade. Henry Cen?

Punishment lol.. They take way too long to reveal footage of them. We all know now just like all the other leaks out there before. And now they're saying AE DLC content will get a later date.. I don't care anymore.. they are too slow with that DLC. There are other games to play anyways.
Fake or not, it's definite Capcom didn't want to release Oni and Ryu this early.
I saw rumors that AE owners have these "passcodes" to unlock characters when they bought the cabinet. I hardly doubt this rumor is true. Capcom is not stupid enough to spoil the excitement by giving all AE owners the passcodes ahead of time and tell them, in good faith, to not unlock any of the new characters before they tell them to.
My guess is there's a good chance someone probably hacked into the cabinet and got the code that way. It may sound stupid but there are all kinds of hackers in this world. They probably invented devices and programs that specifically hack into arcade cabinets. Supposely vanilla used a passcode to unlock akuma and sakura. Maybe that's how they got the idea? Who the heck knows. I just want to see Ono's or Seth's annoucement for this leak haha.

I still don't think people have a right to be angry at the Evil/Oni shotos. They were clearly chosen for time purposes. We would have simply gotten less characters if Capcom didn't run with the Evil/Oni combination.
not going to lie, thought evil ryu was a sh*t idea and it was lool but oni now he was sick for a shoto, I welcomed him, but evil ryu... just go
