Whenever you do a move and EX it, then it converts into more than one hit. So all you have to do is do the EX Version of it, and it'll work. But if your opponent is too close, then it will be converted into a grab move instead of a strike. ^_^
@ JinSanadaDragon
no, to get double strike, it needs to be EX AND it needs to be in grab range. the difference is that for the double strike to happen, you only need to input punch while with the grab, it needs to be inputted at a punch and either left or right on the stick
+1 SnakeX
SF4 arcade mode is basically a sweet little LAN party where you can fight just about anybody else in the arcade. Any number of players could be building their own little win streaks fighting different people until they finally meet. The more machines (and players obviously) the more interesting it gets! Arcade rocks!
@naterade
While it is surprising that you didn't know this, it's not a crime. You should NEVER apologise (or even respond, for that matter) to a-holes like boulderabuser. One of the good folks on this site will likely give you the correct answer in a polite manner (see above for an example - two polite responses to my question).
@naterade
Vega is called Balrog in japan. Balrog is known as Boxer
@#22
Messatsu and RX are the beastly Urien players if you wanna look them up
@naterade
Im sorry. That was really rude of me. In Japan, Vega's original name was Balrog. In order to not confused both the japanese and americans, people refer to him as Claw. Once again, I apologize.
@duckmouth
Hey, that was my first offense, don't judge me like trolls around here.
Thanks for the 3S videos! It's great to see characters like Necro and Remy get played at a high level.
im sure ill get hate for this but remys is such a weak character hes a very weak copy guile and then he looks and plays as if he belongs in kof just had to say it
@genesiskhan
while i disagree with your assumption of Remi as a weak character...
I have won two tournaments (around 30 ppl usually) and gotten to top 4 another 2 time wit Remi). Any fundamental weakness that he may have compared to Guile (which you can enlighten me on perhaps) is easily negated by the parry system in 3rd strike.
As for you KOF reference, that is actually understandable because that was the main idea when Remi was designed. He is basically a slightly different take on the character Iori from the KOF series, in which he also had RED pants and a Black Jacket with a white shirt underneath. Whereas Remi's jacket is completely zipped jacket.
So in that regard your 100% correct
@boulderabuser
Decent of you to apologise. Why couldn't you just have responded like that first time around? You say it's your first offence, which I have no way of knowing, but had you gotten away with it you would likely have done it again.
If the hat fits, wear it.
@30 prolly cause its comming from me who has never played remy prolly bad assumption but i just dont see the use ina character that does the same pricipally as another and just looks different also i would say he reminds me more of robert garcia in play style but yes kinda emoe like iori
anyone notice how the stole a lot of primary moves for juri from robert garcia and the build they used for him ngbc
@31
Cause I forgot this isn't Youtube. When there's no edit button, I already knew I was screwed and facepalm myself.
@ boulderabuser
I have no idea what you said, nor is it any of my business. But know that we are only humans. We make mistakes. But it is are sole responsibility to learn from those mistakes.
So know that you are forgiven for whatever you did / said. The learning part would be that you kindly don't repeat your actions friend. =)
I love 3rd Stike myself, I cant wait for the online edition. Not to go to far off topic (The vids are solid, ty) Have to share the love on this match. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ-6kz...
Third Strike is just winsome, definitely designed around "skill." I love how anything can be parried, though if grabs can be parried I imagine grapplers are useless there.
Arcade Edition matches were nice. Yun/Sagat/Ibuki are looking dope! Anyone else notice that Ibuki now has after images?!
Yun vs. Zangief was epic, I like how Gief's face was when he whiffed RBG and got ultra'd, then combo'd into EX Shoulder.
Necro's not really mediocre. Perhaps not sitting on top of a tier list somewhere but skilled Necro players are crazy.
Necro is built to exploit mix up and misdirection. You aren't going to get too far playing him evasively. Compared to Dhalsim he's much faster, has way better damage options up close and can effectively apply a lot of pressure. His limbs are less a primary source of damage and more a tool to set that primary damage up.
(Dont get me wrong, some limb juggles are no joke, its more icing on the cake than his bread and butter though.)
I know he's not the best or most popular, but Necro is so much fun to watch.
