They could easily have fit every move any one character has on that touchscreen.
Sure, it looks nice, but the novelty/gimmick value will prob wear off after a few weeks.
Its an inferior version of SF in every sense of the word other than being portable.
PC>Consoles>Iphone...3ds...etc..
Well guys...Where else can you play SF in full true 1080P? No console country restrictions for online? Worldwide battles. No intermediate networks...best online play that is free and not laggy like PSN...
Nowhere.
PC FTW.
@Blankabeast,
Theres a problem with that statement... cause you can't play SSFIV on the PC.. cause they didn't release it on there.
Sure you can play the other SF games on there but in the end no SSFIV for PC players.
@BlankaBeast: "worldwide battles" is not a good thing. I maxxed SFIV on both PC and 360, and let me tell you that the online experience on 360 was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY Better. Online on PC is probably worse than PS3 because of all the people who tries to play with computers that's too weak.
SFIV:
360>PS3>PC>Arcade(Because of fewer characters)>>>>>>>Iphone
SSFIV:
Arcade>360>PS3>3DS
@11 thats why I said SF and not SSFIV, Nice try tho.
PC FTW.
Man, the game looks good an all, but the hardware looks so cheap and toy-like.
I mean, even the first gen PSP had a better industrial design than the 3DS. They went from the matte, sophisticated design of the DSi to this glossy fisher price toy. Just look at those gaudy hinges, ugh.
I know it just may be my preferences, but if I were to purchase a $250 piece of electronic, I expect it to look the part.
I am dissapoint. Hopefully, the PSP2 that's supposed to be announced next week will look better.
@BlankaBeast
SF is a multiplayer versus game where players are meant to be playing side by side in the style of dem old arcade games. Online is just a bonus in SFIV and a casual method of practice for the real thing, especially if friends aren't readily available in person all the time.
Last time I checked, not many people are accustomed to gathering around a PC and playing with two arcade sticks. If you and your friends do that, good for you. But PC multiplayer is rooted in online and LAN parties, and that's how PC gamers like their multiplayer games.
Nothing against the any platform, but the existence of PCs, consoles, handhelds, iphones, and downloadable indie games have all contributed to increasing variety in gaming industry. Evident in genres that were made for and/or only possible on certain platforms. The PS3 won't get a good Real-time Strategy dose, Super Smash and Marvel parties just wouldn't fly on PCs, etc.
Let's keep talking about how much better PC is than consoles, guys!
But seriously, take that junk back to 4chan.
I'm not sure I'll get this; I'm losing interest in anything SSF4 related lately. Playing online has gotten so boring, win or lose, but......with this I can play my favorite game on the john, or on break, or on the way to work....
LOL @ PC>Consoles.
At least when I buy my 360/PS3 ALL games from then on for the 360/PS3 will forever work, on PC however you have to constantly upgrade it just to keep up with the requirements of the newer games & if your "2010 Top Notch" PC is not compatible with the newer graphics cards to come in 2011 of still current gen games then you gotta get another PC.... yea they're called Video Game Consoles for a reason cause that's what they're made to do, PCs on the other hand are not. Enjoy sucking your thumbs waiting for SSF4 while the rest of the real gaming world plays MvC3, not that you'll be getting either anytime soon BUT "PC FTW" right? (:P
@Sturmgeist13/#22
You're an idiot. I know somebody with an 8800GT that came out in 2008 and he can still play games on PC (including new releases) at a better graphical level than either the PS3 or 360. Your constantly upgrading argument is ill founded and just plain wrong.
Go nose dive off a cliff.
coulda sworn all three punches/kicks did a lariat for zangief o_O not a spinning piledriver
