It's not just Daigo it's basically whoever wins the latest Major in a tournament with a specific character, if it's Dhalsim the Dhalsim player rate goes up online, if it's Guile, the Guile player rate goes up, if it's Chun Li...You get the picture.
I never really got that and it's really not fun playing 10 Ryu's in 30 minute play time. I actually shed a tear when I get to play a Dan player.

In the 15 min video they said they were more Street Fighter guys... Yet they don't know how to block .... at all.
It was painful to watch. One of them said he was playing the game for 2 days....In the age of the internet he couldn't figure out what X-factor does, how to tag out characters, DHC, etc.....What in the hell was he doing for 2 days ?

You will be surprised how common that is for people not to know whats going on. Not everyone follows up on the game or bother researching it for a better understanding. Last ive heard X-factor doesnt work the exact same way for everyone, cant be expecting people to have a knack for a game they havent played after only 2 days. I know it took me a few days to fully grasp the control scheme on TvC and ive been playing fighters forever, which i think was the problem too used to traditional controls.

When I ever start playing online, we should totally have a match and I'll show you my awesome Saikyo Skills! Although I play a lot of non-dragon punch/fireball/spinkick characters as well.
