how can i get in on this? i have stuff i want to put in the next combo collab.
Maybe it's just me, as an Abel player having seen all he's capable of, but Abel's stuff is just so...basic. I'm very disappointed in him as a character for combo videos. There's nothing left to discover about him offensively (unless you count safe jumps and stuff). Don't get me wrong he's terrific fun to play as, but there's only so much he has to offer for vids.
Props to everyone involved though, including the Abel player, just so there's no misunderstanding.
But...where's Ibuki?
IT was simply submit your combos and I'll put them in, regardless of how "amazing" they are. No ibuki players submitted any combos, and no abel mains submitted any insane abel combos:P It's simply just combos from the community. Goron ninja, don't know if they'll be a combo collab two, but after this one hopefull there will be, and I'll let you know so you can submit some combos.
Nice work, people. I agree, those Dan Super Taunt/cancel into Ultra combos are sick.
the abel combos could have been better. mabye a low short into st fierce but same as what Kalm said, theres only so much abel can do. great video though. i would do the phone if i knew how.

Yep, works in SSF4 though so it was looked past.
Hm.. I dunno about more combo's. I'm more of a chess-match then combo-match player so I'd rather make him stronger by buffing move functionality or giving him more options via 1 to 3 moves in a row, rather then 8 to lots.
Long combo vids are neat to watch but don't help my game at all.
Thanks for the comments on the dan combos (took forever to get the regular super into ultra because finding the timing was torture).
And as for the abel combos I just gotta say that I don't main (or barely even use) abel and I just thought they looked nice so sorry for not being up to standard with other abel players. Hopefully I can throw up some better combos for the next collab (if there is one).

P.S. Its all good Kalm I didn't take it personally. Oh and my combos were the ones of lesser video quality (sorry) involving: dan, abel, 1 dudley, 1 cody, 1 guy, seth, and makoto combos. I also wasn't really going for large combos but just combos that either weren't seen, are situational, or something I thought looked nice :P
@22 yeah, my gen combos are basic. i'll record a better one for the next collab. (i wished he'd be able to do his vanilla combos T_T)
but with EX gekiro the combo would be pretty short. does it hit after the middle kick or do you mean gekiro after super?
@21 in every combo video you have to decide for yourself where to end a combo. ultras after 'some-hit' combos usually don't make sense. i made other combo videos and people complained about combos starting with focus attack. well, just start them without focus first ^^
maybe you can see a new link, new possibilities. i think watching combos can help. (even a chessplayer)
