what exactly was changed in super in regards to linking akuma's s.lp to s.hk? i thought they took it out of the game completely, but realized they didn't when i saw lord of ultima doing it on abel last summer... and now this.

people do 1 frame links all the time, so why aren't pro akuma players still doing the roundhouse loop?

OMG also the sweep after cr.mp works... RH is much quicker.. yeaaah

This crap is old, Catalyst.

This "loop" (which isn't a loop, since you can just do it once) is VERY space and hitbox (it can be done on Adon too iirc) depending, and it's only possible on very few hitbox, and only works when st.LP hits on the second active frame, thus giving +8 on hit and allowing a 1f link into his st.HK (8f startup).

st.HK in vanilla used to have 7 frame startup, with st.LP giving +7 on hit. If I am not mistaken, they also nerfed the range of his st.LP into Super.

Much quicker? Lmao. That's just cr.MP hitting on its last frame and allowing less recovery.

Maaan Capcom is gonna do a 180 on SSFIV AE and nerf him, Chun and Elf even more. They already put the nail in the coffin on Fei's chickenwing.

Desk is just gonna make it happen faster thats all.

German player Sh1nd posted a video doing the same stuff in SSF4 a couple weeks _before_ release of SSF4 (he had a review copy he could play).

Again, I lack the vanilla hitbox, so I'm not sure about that specific part.

Still, it should have less range (than its vanilla counterpart, which allowed the loop) on his far standing jab. If it was only a matter of frame advantage and startup, hitting on the last active frame of st.LP would be all it required - and it's not the case.

Also, yeah #11 is right, now that he mentioned it I remember that vid too.

Abel Ultra II Damage Nerf (further ridiculous)
Rose Ultra II Startup Frames (instant pressure? wtf)

Slightly Smaller active hitbox on Ryu's cr. forward
Ibuki overall damage nerf

More recovery on Akumas Demon Flip

The "loop" also works on Cody, Dee Jay and Honda...I actually found it to work a lot easier and smoother on honda than it does on adon, except for the fact that on adon you can actually execute an 11 hit combo or 8 if you sweep after standing jab...Other than that, DESK is like a year late with this video LoLoL... *Sighs*
