^ There are plenty of videos of other characters.
Yun is pretty soft bodied in this game though. And there were two resets. Still, thats a little too much damage potential.
You mean like C. Viper on the front page right below this? Or the Cammy vid a little further down?
I mean what other characters do you want? These guys are new so they get the most clips. It's not hard to understand.
Anyway...
This almost looks like a glitch. Not saying it is but the amount of damage done is incredible.
Fair and balanced when you consider how quickly they can gain meter
^ An unblocable setup leading straight to ultra 1..!
This is actually a pretty cool fine. Seiei-Enbu seems to be much better this time around.
Maybe its just me though> but I've noticed, in Japan there are quite a bit of Yun players that we are seeing, they seem to take a liking to him> though in the US, from at least most of the videos I've seen, a lot of people prefer Yang though. Has anyone noticed that?
@15
Nah ive seen really good japanese Yang players especially on 3rd strike.
I forgot his name but the best Yang in 3rd strike was a japanese player, and ive learned alot from watching his videos.
It is similar to Juri but seems much easier with Yang due to that you aren't going for knockdown since your meter is used up as compared to her she can reset but I feel Yang can apply better pressure than Juri in this case. Plus his overhead looks much faster. Any Juri experts correct me if I'm wrong (odds I am horribly wrong)
Let the whining and crying start ALL over and again haha. I can just see it. Here I'll start. Oh it's "SSFIV Yun and Yang Edition" or "SSFIV Nerf the Hell out of other character so Yun and Yang is OP'ed Edition." C'mon. You guys continue...
It's around 900-950 which is why Daigo also mentioned advantage Gief due to SPD buffs partially
#3 Well THOSE vids are of SSFIV, thats fine but im talking about SSFIV AE and unfortunatly you don't see many vids of C.Viper and Cammy, they are there but not enough.
I understand they are new but I think Mr_Clack said it better, we already know Yuns health suck and thats the same combo with a slight variance in execution doing tons of damage to Yun.
As for characters I want to see, i want to see the buffed characters like the new Makoto, and Hakan, some Gen or maybe Gouken and the altered Seth. But it ain't gonna happen I guess. Im not hating just kinda sad :(
@RandomJohn
didnt you try that dry joke in another post?
The scary thing about this is that the Yang player resetted the combo after the 12 hit mark to do extra damage. So if he actually gets you with the beginning of the super, you could probably reset them 2 times before the super runs out. And if that were to happen, it'll probably be about 750 damage...
I approve!
Super Street Fighter 4 Yang Edition
What edition will you be buying, Yun or Yang?
a yun player not blocking when yang screws up his combo leading to huge damage because the combo meter reset isnt interesting or news. this particular article is garbage.
@#31:
Yea I did. Lets face it. The constant crying about how AE was designed around Yun and Yang will never stop. These same people will NEVER accept changes and adjust to any game. I can't imagine how they can coupe with changes in real life situation if they can't even adjust to changes for a video game.
Oh yea, the reason why I said the same thing is to mock all the cry babies out there.
Randomjohn just shutup, after you said that bison should have gotten nerfed by having the active frames increased you pretty much lost your right to talk about cry babies.
Must be a ken player.
@ 18:
Juri's FSE can perform similarly, but she can't string normals together until the timer runs out. She can only link upwards in terms of normal strength (i.e. LP MP HP) and to reset that a FB is needed, not to mention because of damage scaling, she pretty much has to go for that knockdown or that reset.
Yang looks like he can just normal, normal, dash, normal, normal until time's up. Scaling would kill that as well but he has theat option of just continuing the combo till time runs out, so he has a one up on Juri inherently. Plus, his Super just looks so much harder to block lol.
Yun player should have been mashing Ex Nishoukyaku the entire time he was getting comboed. That's what the easy reversal window is for right? Invincible DP > Reset until your opponent accounts for it.
Oh should've mentioned, it's nice to see a Yang trying out some different stuff consistently. Saw alot of strange resets in this vid (maybe too many), though they don't look like they will be too effective.
Some different combo enders too. Wonder what's his reasoning for them...Looks like his AA situation is varied too. Were those MK AAs or LK?
Pretty informative vid.
Yang looks amazing....Yang vs. Yun is just so hype, though Yang vs. Dudley is pretty awesome as well.
So far I am impressed with these guys, even if the balancing was shifted around them. I think in the long run this is going to make for a great game. :D
Even though Ryu is rare in arcades right now, he'll still be prevalent in online modes.
Yang is looking awesome, as is Yun... they're both a joy to watch when played as fluently as that
Jeeezus. That Yang player's mind and hand movements are in sync like a fricking machine, to do all those combo's and cancles so fluently and quickly. i forget sometimes that these high ranked players are even human, as I also question that they are too.
Not trying to be a butt head but these Yun/Yang vids are getting old.
Can we see some of the other characters for once? Thats all I ask, please?
