I don't think Jill is gonna summon zombies anymore. Besides, if Capcom said that the RE Tyrant was left out of the game because it would've affected the game's content rating, then I doubt she would summon a giant executioner who's filled with nails and lugs around with him a massive blood-stained axe.
She'll probably have a pretty sweet new moveset, though!

Like #5 said, he's probably just in the comic. If Tyrant or Nemesis were too violent, executioner falls in the same category.

Uh, I never said Majini were zombies. I said Jill probably wouldn't summon zombies anymore, because she used to summon zombies back in MVC2. I never called the Executioner a zombie, either.

Pooooooossibly, but I doubt it. I rather think they'll give her a new, more acrobatic moveset because of her new battlesuit attire and how her boss-fight was in RE5.
Jill summoning zombies (or majini, in the case of RE5) again would just seem odd, and redundant if Frank somehow makes it in. But hey, you never know.
Just because Executioner is in the comic does'nt mean he is in the game, they said a lot of Capcom and Marvel characters are gonna make cameo apperances.
Jills moveset was tested in both forms, but they found Jill sucked up ram because of the summons, so they went with Battlesuit Jill.
Frank West is neither oonfirmed or deconfirmed so it's anyones guess, stop refering to that leak list.
Majini is the name given to the inhabitants of the RE5 game that are infected with the Type 2 and 3 Plagas so both of you are right but the Plagas is the parasite that infects teh executioner. His name is Executioner Majini because thats what the people are called literally meaning evil spirits or Wicked People.

I've been saying that over and over. There's no clue about Sentinel or Hsien-ko at all, besides the leaks,but those are sketchy.
Right now Frank has the MOST clues. Capcom NEVER said right out like they did with other characters that he's not in the game. (plus other characters that were disconfirmed were better than Frank. Yeah, Sven said don't assume(I take that as just "Generally speaking") Seth said take silhouette.. grain of Salt.. again just generally speaking.
I do remember an interview, they asked Seth if there was another Darkstalker, Seth said "You will not get anything out of me." If one wasn't in it would be simple to say,no, there are no more Darkstalker characters, especially when it was mentioned that there are no other Darkstalkers beyond Morrigan or Felicia,that would of been a simple "NO" answer, because there was already an answer.
What if Executioner Majini was in the game? Actually his design wouldn't be as gross as Tyrant or Nemesis. He's not even that gory. His face is covered, and all he has is nails and stuff poking through him. He has an axe, but if he makes contact on the game it will be sparks NOT blood.
Would you be happy about him in or disappointed? My answer is I would be somewhat not too happy, while some other character could be in.
Personally, I think he's just a random character for the comic book, and a cameo. If he was in the game, he would be the MOST unexpected reveal EVER...
I will defend cornwad for once by saying that yes the leaked list is probebly correct. But seroiously cornwad when you defend these lists with such vehemence it makes you look like a fool when they are false. Need I remind you of the red arremer/howard the duck list that you swore so many times too be true?
But anyway if you look at the leaks he does'nt just leak characters he also leaks movesets, he leaked phenoix, c viper, and haggar's movelists flawlessly and that is something that you don't guess.
Also about the leaked list being incomplete. Of course it's gonna be incomplete without dlc, but i suppose yohu guys are thinking about famitsu believeing that there are 10 characters left right, well haggar, phenoix, c viper, and storm have been revealed since then so that leaves 6 and lupinko has given use 4 so te last 2 are probebly dlc if famitsu is correct

Hey, the very first leak was also right from the start up until Dormammu was revealed in August, that took about 4 months to be proven wrong. The very first leak is still right for the Capcom side so far, except for Jill, but she's DLC.
Lupinko list came out waayy after the first list, plus his is incomplete, even Kensk said he was missing some characters and not just Thor either. I wouldn't assume the Achievement is hinting characters either, it could mean anything. If that was so, that means Professor X, Hercules, and Havok is in the game. It's sketchy because it looks right, but it's incomplete. You may have too much faith in it, then all of the sudden your heart get broken. Plus Sven warned us not to trust the leaks.
Well lets see what the next reveal beholds for us.
I hope the next character reveal is megaman, because if they have side-characters from megaman games but not megaman himself, it would be like a big "F*ck you" to all the fans. Besides with megaman universe coming out, what better time to promote him then now?

There's a different between achievements making references to characters in the name and actually saying that the character is required to get the achievement.
So this pretty much confirms Taskmaster officially... can't wait to see his gameplay.

I'm saying it's incomplete because it doesn't have all of the characters.It only has 38, it's missing a few more.
It's obvious that Lupinko and also Neoultima,( yes neoultima is that guy who also leaked that list WITH lupinko, it wasn't just Lupinko's list)saw some footage or spoke with some Capcom guy who told them. We don't know this time around if this was all planned just for the hype to get us to think the list is 100% correct.

That's not the point of what I'm saying. Duh, I know that. Like I said earlier even the very first leak list was right up until Dormammu's reveal. I am saying that list could STILL be proven wrong. Guess what, I even guessed that Haggar, Storm, C. Viper, Arthur, Magneto, MODOK, Wesker, Spiderman,She-Hulk, and Zero was going to be revealed in the Months they were revealed. I even guessed that Haggar was going to have his own stage. If you do the research you could guess some of the characters and etc.

Crimson Viper's silhouette told me that silhouettes should be looked at as confirmation. Grain of salt my ass. Every silhouette (aside from West) has made it into the game so far. People just aren't smart enough to understand that...

Nope, has nothing to do with donuts. Many websites say around 40. Around means "approximate" not less than, but right at 40. They disguise that for NOT saying more than 40 characters. PLus a guy named Kensk who leak SSF4 characters said there's more than 40. Even other websites say that as well. Think about it, Capcom side has only 1 true villain, well Akuma is a just a bad guy and not a "true villain" he cares less about trying to take over the world, that would make a less interesting story, when it's about Villains coming together to defeat the good guys. The Marvel side needs more balance in the women department. It definitely feels incomplete. If we get two reveals this week or on Monday, that might be a sign that we are going to have more than 40 characters. Just so you know they are not going to reveal more than 2 per reveal.

The "don't put too much faith in silhouettes" was specifically about Viper and the criticism she received. It's surprising that you'd take specific bits of information, but ignore the blatantly obvious. If anything, C.Viper being in confirms that Frank is.

come on guys, give cornwad a rest, i actually think that leak is true, and its not blind faith, if it was just the characters he was right about i would be skeptical, but the list leaked the entire moveset of phoenix, thats justs impossible to make up, so yeah, chances are the list is true because being a lucky guess just doesnt seem like it.

I can't find the one that he said Lupinko is missing a few, but found the one that said above 40. I also found the one he said there's an unexpected character from one of the capcom franchise in. My guess for one of them is Red Arremer, but I could be wrong.

Right: Cornwad is quoted as saying the image was fake, but also that the list within it was correct. He also said Spider-Woman was a character Marvel insisted on, that he would have fun playing Howard the Duck while everyone else bitched, all because that list was 100% true as well. And he cried out when Jill was announced that the original list he claimed was 100% true only missed her because she was DLC: at this point he said Lupinko's list was fake. He sure is a flakey troll.

Lol. i love how every single time their is a mvc3 news bit conward talks about how godly the leak lists are. I honestly dont care much at this point cause after the october reveals anyone else in the game was just an added bonus. Btw though God "AKA leak list lupinko" says sentinel is in, i hope he isnt. I dont want an unthinking robot And another X-men series character in the game. Its too much :P

I don't think the list is DEFINITELY wrong or DEFINITELY right. It's not definitely ANYTHING until the game is released. And when that time comes, do you REALLY think everybody's gonna be talking about Lupinko and the list, whether it's right or not?
No. People are going to be playing MVC3 like no f***ing tomorrow (especially since some of us thought the world would end before we'd ever see it).
And then a few weeks later, 30% of those people will start to claim that its the worst game ever and that copies should be rounded up and destroyed (while still playing it religiously, of course).

@81 the unexpected character Kensk was referring to is obviously Hsien-ko. For the simple fact that everyone in their grandmother swore up and down that there wouldn't be anymore Darkstalkers.
@43 Using the achievements was a terrible example. What separates the Satsu no hado, Darkstalkers, and Spider and the fly achievements from the profesor X, Havok and megabuster achievement is that their specifically asking you to use certain characters to get it, unlike the formers you listed.
People that are determined to believe Lupinko is magically wrong about two characters. Because that's all that's left for him to be wrong about since we know for certain Akuma and Taskmaster are in, are setting themselves up for disappointment. As for me I look forward to once again seeing people curbed stomped to death by Sentinel and Tenraiha'd to hell and back by Hsien-ko.
I hope it's not the boss from RE5. It's just ONE boss in the game? I understand maybe Tyrant or Nemesis but this guy? While they're at it, why not add that big two legged monster in the village from RE4? Seriously I'm not sure how they select the characters to be included in MvC3. Maybe they ask their kids and grandkids for advice?
Most leaks so far are fake, making lucky guesses to get where they were.
Lupinko's leaks aren't lucky guesses. If he got one or two things right, they'd be understandable. It started with him specifically naming Jill and Shuma would be DLC characters, and nobody else on the list had been said to be DLC. This alone is noteworthy, but can easily just be a lucky guess on his part. From there he guessed Phoenix would revive into Dark Phoenix when she goes down with 5 full bars. What happens when we get her? Exactly what Lupinko said. He also said Viper would keep her EX and Focus moves, and said specifically how to use them. When she was revealed, she has her EX and Focus moves, and when she was first given to players to use, the button combination to use her EX and Focus moves were just as Lupinko stated they'd be. Haggar's moveset isn't exactly hard to guess, since he borrows a lot from what you'd expect him to have, but I might as well include the fact that everything he said about Haggar's moveset has been proven correct as well.
Cornward as believed some pretty stupid leaks before, and I usually don't believe any leaks until they actually prove true with information that nobody in the public would know, instead of just dropping wishlist names that they hope would be in the game along with safe picks everyone pretty much knows will be in the game.
In all honesty, I can't see how anyone can have a hard time believing Lupinko's leaks by this point. He's gotten so many of them correct, with game mechanics that nobody should know about. He guesses that Phoenix turns into Dark Phoenix? That's cool, but he managed to state EXACTLY HOW she turns into Dark Phoenix. He guessed that Viper would keep some of her SSFIV stuff? Cool, but he managed to also tell us HOW TO USE THOSE MOVES, because it was a mystery as to how they'd implement such a thing. He guessed Shuma and Jill were in? Well, so did a lot of lists, but he SPECIFICALLY STATED that they'd be DLC characters.
From this, we have two possible answers:
1. Lupinko's leaks are real.
2. Lupinko basically won the lottery with outrageous guesses that proved correct one after another.
If you ask me, the more rational option is the 1st one. It's not unheard of for someone inside to release information. This is a highly anticipated game with a large number of people working on it, I'm sure one person couldn't hold back on the excitement when working on the game and just had to tell a friend something when seeing all the bullcrap lists posted online.
but if lupinko's list is true, and only they are in, then the roster will suck. :( no megaman, no frank west/chuck greene, no cable, or other marvel characters that were more popular than taskmaster. :(
Also want to add that I have in fact argued with Cornward over the questionable legitimacy of the previous list, and told him it was fake. It's obvious Cornward just follows leaks blindly, but just because someone like Cornward latches onto it doesn't automatically discredit it. It's not the believers of the lists that make it fake, it's the ones that create the lists. People as gullible as Cornward will fall for fake lists, but that doesn't mean they're immune to also falling for the one clover growing in the desert.
Don't listen to Cornward if you don't have to, but don't confuse everyone that believes in the list to be as irrational as him. I've yet to believe any "leak" list until Lupinko's. I didn't believe it because I was desperate for information and needed something to cling on to until the game comes out. I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the characters on his list (Hsin-ko ♡), but I'm not dumb enough to be blinded from a fake by my personal wishlist (previous leaks had characters I'd love to see in the game as well, but I didn't let that get in the way of rationally thinking for myself). The only reason I believe Lupinko's list to be true is because it's done what no other list has done before. I've kept up with his leaks, and put together the pieces of the puzzle on my own. I thought it out thoroughly. I questioned if there were any possibilities I've overlooked, I properly analyzed not only the leaked information, but how they fit into the game and the probability of them being correct.
You can get lucky with one test and get a high score knowing absolutely nothing about the subject being tested; but if you get high scores on numerous tests in succession without fail, chances are you actually do know the content you're being tested on.

Sorry kid, but it's obvious that Lupinko's leak is 100% right. He mentioned that Viper would have focus and EX moves and he mentioned the abilities Jean would have. That isn't a a lucky guess, he clearly knows what he's talking about.
Also, the achievements back up Lupinko's list, especially the fact that there will be a 3d Darkstalker.
It's clear at this point that Lupinko is correct, thinking otherwise is just denial.
FYI , this isn't the first time Megaman was left out from a Vs game. Remember Capcom vs SNK 1 & 2?
By the way, felt like pointing out for anyone quoting Kesnk as some way to debunk Lupinko's leaks:
1. Kensk has flat out denied a list before, not sure if he's denied any others before it. He stated that he had nothing in particular to say about Lupinko's leak, he can't confirm or deny it because his information is more limited this time around.
2. He implied tat Hsien-ko was in the game, when he said "Storm, Taskmaster and Lei-Lei were the three I heard about. You can thank someone who works for Shoryuken.com for two of those getting leaked along with Haggar, I promise"

Sentinel? The huge robot? I thought they said no 'giant' characters would be allowed in the game?...or I've heard wrong...
As for Akuma...well Ryu's in. If they need someone take in the SFIII why not Elena (crazy suggestion I know, but Alex was already in TvC and Yun and Yang are already in SSFIV:AE. Elena was been requested several times. Not for this game I know, but for others.)
And wouldn't that leave about 6 more characters according to the new character select screen?
@109 they are refering to TvC style Giant characters where they make up the entire team. Sentinal is not really a giant character though he is big as hell he's not two screens tall like PX and Gold Lightan.
Also folks need to relax on the whole "My character did'nt make it" debate. When they say they could'nt figure out how to incorporate things like Silvers board or Ghost Riders Bike they are just refering to time. Im sure they would have found a way but that takes time and that would have pushed MvC3 futher down so rather than waste time with complicated designs they are on the back burner.
These guys still may make it to DLC in the near future but you have to keep asking. Only way.

i only said that it sucks cuz of those 4 being the only ones left (other than dlc) and that akuma, a shoto, is in instead of a unique, non-SF fighter.
I guess Taskmaster is in as well. Other hints indicate that Hsien-Ko and Akuma will likely be in the game. I wonder if the leak is correct, and Sentinel will make it as well.
I doubt that Green Goblin is in the game, because he primarily flies around on his goblin glider. They already removed Silver Surfer from the game because they found it too difficult to incorporate his surfboard in the game.

This hardly confirms Axe Majini as playable. They just needed a character for Hulk to pwn, and instead of showing an in game character getting their ass kicked by an over-powered super human they chose a faceless, expendable goon from Resident Evil.
Axe Majini isn't even a boss... you didn't even have to fight him. Just run in circles for a few minutes collecting phat lewts and the fight was over ;).

If it was just the image, I'd call fake, but the fact that it was an image used on a reputable game review site that later got removed made me think otherwise. Take the image as you will, I'm not putting 100% faith on it since I hardly know the site, but from the information I've gathered, they're a legitimate gaming site, and Google cache did in fact prove that this article existed and was removed from the site.
@98 WASSHOI this post sums it up in a nutshell. I find it astounding so many people can ignore solid evidence. Can they really be so stubborn, or do they believe it's so improbable for Megaman not to be in the game. As I recall he wasn't in cvs 1 or 2. They left him out before they'll do it again. People it's time to embrace the horror your precious Megaman isn't in the game.
