Also, 30 minutes of footage from Yoshinori Ono's press conference is available after the jump, where he demos the title a bit more, but this is in Japanese.
Also, Siliconera has an article explaining that the game will have an online mode.
@gtfopanda
Nope, it IS hard to understand the distance without 3D turned on, but WITH 3D it's fine
@6 I can see a ton of practical and serious uses for this game. It's a 100% port and your combos and special moves can translate from console to here with a little learning of the controls. The on screen touch specials is optional. You have 4 face buttons and an LR button. Boom 6 buttons.
The over shoulder and 3D view is also optional. I don't think learning the spacing is that hard in OS view so thats just a lame excuse.
People playing at tournaments of various levels can bring the 3Ds and play with friends while waiting for their matches, a great way to stay in the zone and keep fresh while waiting for their match. Pad play does'nt really interfer with Stick play so transitioning should be fine.
You just lack vision. I could even see this played at certain local tournaments and don't see why it would'nt be used by pros. If the DS sports something like the Smartphones like a frame data sheet, that would even make it more better.
The only thing is I might wait to get this system because Nintendo has a bad habit of making a better version like 1 year later with better features improving from the other. Im hoping for a bigger screen and longer battery life.
Hmm, I think my 4 Chun shortcuts will be 1. HK LL; 2. MK LL; 3. MP Kikoken; 4. Hosenka. Won't have to have execution like Desk to get those awesome combos out now !! ;D
Looks great. I want it so bad.
In about two (to ten) years when SF5 is announced, I will bet $60 that at least 75% of Capcom fans will scream "IT SUKZ!!!1! F@#$ YUO CRAPCOMM!!?!!" before ANY gameplay is shown.
Hell, people might as well start saying SF5 sucks right now.
Alex is gonna be bottom tier and it won't be as good as 3rd Strike (aka THE PERFECT GAME), and I'll never buy it (but secretly I will).
There, I did it for you.
Nothing for competitive gaming? You've gotta be kidding me. I completely agree with #10, not to mention the entire concept of this game looks awesome, and overall, it looks extremely fun and well executed.
Looks dope.
