I think this is pretty legit. Photoshop or not, we know lupinko's list has been spot on with everything. It was only a matter of time.

It's possibly a fake for a reason : capcom sent "cut" version of MvC3 to the press for early reviews. When i say cut, it's all about "only" 30 characters instead of the final roster.
Why do i say that ? Cuz in the recent jeuxvideo.com preview (appeared this morning) they say exactly this : "la version que nous avons essayée ne comptait « que » trente personnages mais le jeu final devrait proposer pas moins d'une quarantaine de combattants [...]" , u can easily translate it to : " there were only 30 characters in the version we tried , but in the final build there will be at least 40" ...
Jeuxvideo.com also have news screenshots with the game translate in french, it's obviously homemade screens with this prerelease version.
But why would nowgamer.com use a fake, or make it ? more visits ? or simply an error ... or rly a leak.
Imo there is still a lot of things to take care of b4 assuming it's real. :p

Its honestly no surprise he is in the game. Its because of him we have these VS games in the first place. However I want him to be the only other shoto NO MORE. Lets also bare in mind that Capcom is supposedly revealing characters tonight at the secret event so lets see if he is revealed officially tonight.

I think leaks are intentional, I think Capcom if they wanted, could easily not allow anything to be leak. This is more like a prize. Akuma is in the game, and that pic is real. Don't worry though. I think he'll offer something more different than what Ryu does. He'll be the last Shoto and Ryu's real rival, now the question is will M.Bison make it in? I say MORE likely than less likely.

as far as i'pm concerned the only good thing about that reveal is that it comfirms even the leaking list with taskmaster and lei lei
not trying to troll or start a war but with rtyu in , i don't see the point of akuma, they should have gave ryu the ability to tap into his dark energie, so he would get akuma moves
if this is real, i'm not at all bothered about another shoto being added to the roster, considering that the current roster has a grand total of one shoto character(that's off course if the new characters don't play like shoto's).
besides, akuma is pretty much the baddest bad guy that capcom has to offer(along with wesker and bison), which was just what the capcom side of mvc3 needed.
The problem with Akuma being in the game alongside Ryu is that we're getting two Shoto characters while there are still a ton of good, unique, fun SF characters that didn't make the cut. Where's Guile? Where's Bison? Where's anyone from Alpha or SF3? They have 4 slots for SF characters. Two of those were used well (Ryu and Chun) and two of those were utterly squandered(Akuma and Viper).

people complain about shoto characters cause the foward, down, foward motion is to complicated. mvc is the easiest game to play, with the easiest move list, and they still hate. everyone's movelist and special in mvc is already a shortcut based of of every other fighting game. i hope they add ken, kenji, Q, ruby heart, blade, thanos, spiral and bison, but bison as a fully charged character. not that half circle mvc bison. this looks 100% real.
So no one is commenting on the actual review? It got an 8.3 which while not bad its not that awesome either. Can't believe they only gave 8.0 for graphics, 8.1 for gameplay and a stupid 7.5 for longevity! I mean come on, people still play MVC2 till today!
yes! akuma will be my main along with cap and wesker. i think in this game galactus will be the final boss. if you beat the game without losin you get to fight akuma. if you beat him you fight shin akuma as the real final boss. i think if you beat shin akuma you get your characters real ending. if you beat galactus you get a 'thanx for playin mvc3' screen.
akuma is one of my two favorite shotos. the other being dan. dam, i wish he somehow replaced ryu in this XD

i disagree. akuma is fine. a MUCH better choice than ken imo. im not a big fan of ryu but i guess he pretty much has to be in it since he's the main character. viper fits well in the game, but i wud rather of had guile since he's an sf veteran and wud represent sf better.

Apparently so. God forbid Capcom leave out their precious "Raging Demon" out of a crossover fighting game. I don't really care for Bison either, but I MUCH rather would've preferred to have him in the game. HE at least is a unique fighter.
This game is still gonna be awesome. But seriously, Capcom bugs me sometimes.
@72 nothing will stop me from owning this game tho......its not appealing to me to reveal characters as they have and say char X or Y is out cuz of them being too similar, then go add akuma.....nitsuma said silver surfer would be too much like iceman if he didnt have his board........huh??? read the comics yo ....they say sh*t that contradicts itself...real annoying capcom.......lucky for capcom their games are almost always top notch...F-ing jerks
I've got a feeling that Akuma won't be the only Street Fighter villain in the game. Also I wouldn't be surprised if Frank West shows up, too. Megasman's a shoe-in as well. Come on people, remember FAN DEMAND will dictate the DLC. I could give a rat's about the "Blue Bomber" but there are plenty of fans out there for sure.

if all of them were in, megaman x or other megaman versions, it would be a good roster.
i'm ok with whatever marvel chooses though, as long as most of them are new characters, imo.
i think capcom are pickin characters that will have to do with the story. if akuma is in, considerin hes another shoto and niitsuma said there would be no "clones"(personally i like akuma and im glad hes in. i jus hope he has the kongou kokuretsu zan as an alternate lv3 from sf3); im pretty sure hes gonna have a lot to do with the main story.

also i know this is legit since i checked out the source from where this pic came from and its already been removed. the same thing happened everytime new zombies info was "leaked" from call of duty black ops. i questioned this and came to a solution. if the "leaked" pics, info, etc. are fake the companies wouldnt remove them off the sites that revealed them because they know its fake. unless its legit they must remove them because they dont want to "spoil" it. so i know akuma is legit and part of mvc3s roster. that makes my team complete.
if sentinal, taskmaster, hisen-ko, and akuma are in, that's cool, but if they are the last ones capcom are putting in, then that's bulls***. MvC2 had 56 characters, they should at least match that in mvc3 before the announcement of DLC characters.
