A set of new Marvel vs. Capcom3 images were posted today. They don't show any new characters, but there are some very stylish shots, and for some of you they'll show a few things you haven't seen before.

The reveal image was taken strait from the comic.

And it's also clear that the "gameplay" image is a reskinned skrull after he missed his command grab.

Spidey related villains
-Oct would be a great classic(1963) spidey villian especially since he'd have such long attacks
-Venom would be great since he's a popular spidey villain who appeared in the other MVCs but not classic (hes only been around since the late 80s,1988) compared to most of spideys villians that came out in the 60s and 70s
-Kraven(1964) would be a good Marvel counter balance to Chris(especially when you consider that wesker has that Maxium Spider like attack)
-Scropion another Classic(1967) that is so different of a character
-Green Goblin is considered a big deal in terms of actual problems but it more personal problems between him and spidey(He purposefully pushed gwen off the bridge, he drove his son and many others to madness and to take the goblin mantel)
-Electro would be a evil electric villian to counter Storm and Thor the near godlike beings on the heroes side who control lighting
-Lizard, the conflicted Doc Conners once again dawning the mantel to fight for the good (or evil) of mankind
-Mysterio the master of Illusions would be cool what they could do in terms of his "powers"(he's a special effects guy but unlike Joe he has realistic ones) in a fighting game

That list is incomplete, you should know that by now. Hell it might not even be entirely true, my friend that works at gamestop told me about Shuma and Jill around the same time Lupinko made his list. Any attention whore could've taken that information and made several educated guesses after that.

I personally would think the list was right if not for sentinel. Marvel more then likely wouldn't allow such a generic, irrelevant character in the game.

That'll be cool if the pages start to rapidly flip to where it transitions INTO the fight, but that's just me. >.<

But Jean is also dead, and Capcom deconfirmed dead characters at the very beginning. Another problem with Lupinkos list. The inclusion of Sentinel and Jean makes me believe Lupinko didn't know the full story. He could easily have been someone who works at gamespot and made a few lucky guesses. He could almost as easily be correct though. We will see.

Not a good photoshop at all
it just took the pics from one of the videos and cut out the goblins figure, dropped shadowed to the right and made it purple got the MVC3 text(which isn't hard to do) and blurred it

Chun it is right, meaning this game takes place AFTER secret invasion where the Skrull empire is defeated on every front (Their gods were killed by Hercules's God Squad, their invasion fully repelled in Wakanda, their queen killed in America and even some of their own spies, like Crusader, turning against them)

And Spiderwoman(Jessica Drew) is actually not a copy paste character infact she has little to nothing to do with Spiderman, she was originally a hydra agent and plus she has powers that spiderman could only dream of

The only time i can think of Spiderman and woman having direct relations is the other 3 spiderwomen and the Ultimates version of Jessica Drew where Spiderwoman is a Female clone of spiderman(with all of his male memories)

Im hyped. But i think this is gonna be a button masher. Just seeing the characters fight in this game messes with my head. Im to used to ssf4, now jumping into this, dont know how people are gonna react to this games speed, and all the other madness. Still hevent mastered mvc2, or even got any better at it. I find most moves and combos are gonna be easy to pull off. Maybe its just me. Once you get comboed its over in certain situations. But i still hyped, but confused.

Idk, personally after they were done announcing Arthur MODOK Spencer and Magneto i was done, the cast was already great, any character added after is just more suger in the cake. Btw button mashing does not usually work cause once you do an accidental meaty move you get punished hardcore, and MvC3 is all about fast attacks and punishs, i really dont think this is going to be a button masher XD.

First of all, whoever was actually HOPING for Green Goblin in this game is a retard and a total nerd. What a lame villain. He rides around on a hover board throwing stink bombs or whatever.

I think Sandman would be a way better character for MVC3. They could make a really unique moveset for him, with a lot of trapping, escaping, and shape-shifting type moves.

Another interesting edition would be Multiple Man from x-men, but i don't know how the hell they'd pull that off.

I've read from a lot of different sources, and seth killian, that when you're actually playing MVC3, it doesn't "feel" as fast as it looks.

Like, once u realize that your character's hard punch shoots 12 midgets in a parabola formation across the screen, you can relax a little and go, "ok.. that's just his hard punch"

I wish they would put it Sentinel in this game and make him as big as the giant robots from TVC. This way, if you use him, he's all you got. It would be cool to have a battle like that. Technically, Sentinel is supposed to be huge like that anyways.

And no, the Sentinel in MVC2 is an action figure compared to what he's supposed to be.

You will be happy to know that they have already stated there aren't going to be any input shortcuts. Mashing buttons is not going to get you very far in this game so hopefully that gives you a little more enthusiasm.
