Always liked Felicia when I was knew to the game, easy combos, fast and pretty good damage, I looked forward to playing with her.

Which is actually funny. I just realized that having Phoenix able to revive (regardless of how fragile her health is) is completely broken. Because think about it. You can just save all your meter and then when the time runs out, just revive her so that you win by timeout.

Actually, the few demonstration videos I have seen that included Felicia had her darn near destroying the entire opponent's team, and she does not seem to have the lowest stamina, is this also with armorless Arthur in mind orwhat ? I mean, Seth talks abouut about her as if she is SSF2T Akuma or something. It is just like the Seth phenomena in SFIV, as long as the AI doesn't get a Felicia that has psychic command grab abilities and high stamina, I'm am all for it, it is about time Felicia got boosted enough to get nerfed (oh God, I'm mixing SSFIVAE terms!)

Ok, this is what I meant:

If Felicia has the lowest health, you can still have Phoenix, but she will not be able to revive (because she would need glass-like health in order to balance her out)

If Phoenix is in AND can revive, she MUST have lower health than Felicia (cause having her have the same health with Felicia AND being able to revive is broken).

So having Felicia have the lowest health would indicate either of two things... Phoenix is not in, or she is in but can't revive.

Also, remember. If she could revive, you can always try to win with a timeout... which seems highly unfair.

Everything Seth says has to be taken with a grain of salt though. As Capcom's rep he can't really say "so and so" sucks outright; remember the Gen scenario from SSF4.

Woah, that kid sure was whining like a baby. I've played the build myself, and Felicia seems way stronger than her MvC2 counterpart. Also, her English voice acting is amazing, sorry if you're too used to being a Japanophile (her JP voice, just like all Capcom characters, sound annoying and gibberish)

I really hope they add one more Darkstalker! Preferably Hsien Ko she was my favorite, and that way I can have a full Darkstalkers team of sexy ladies. They have to give me Hsien! It's like owning Squirtle and Wartortle but no Blastoise. AIN'T RIGHT!

Damn, I can usually expect a pretty good read out of these Q&As but this was just straight-up bickering about Felicia. It's not even Seth's fault, either.

I don't really like Felicia. She could've been replaced by Donovan (eclipsed by Trish in some respects), Hsien-Ko (if she's not already in the game), or Lord Raptor (though his constant transformations would probably hog RAM). No matter which of my Darkstalkers characters make it in, I'd still think Felicia would be a wasted slot. To each his own though, it's not just my game and there are more than enough characters I'm ecstatic about for a few (in my opinion) mediocre oddballs to really bother me. If Hsien-Ko does make it in, I'll be happy. I get a childish joy out of her and her goofy airdash.

I don't think Felicia is that bad. I played with her at times and she's good with her variety of moves especially in MvC2 which you can come up with so many different situations that it isn't funny. I look forward to playing with Felicia in MvC3.

its cool dude, it means that a character can hit the charcter while they lie on the ground. Like if you sweep someone in SSF4 but afterwards you could continue hitting them while they are stunned on the ground. Also i dont hate felicia in this, i just dont know her tools XD. Though she looks alot better then gen though at least, some of her moves actually look viable in comparision.

I couldn't agree more with #19. I think her English voice is just fine. The people who complain about it are probably the same people who are upset that the Marvel side doesn't have a Japanese voice option. In fact, I think everyone's English voices are great while the Japanese voices are either incredibly dull or just plain annoying. I killed people using Felicia in MVC2, and I'll do the same in MVC3. She still looks fun to play.

I'm with #19 and #57, pretty much. I despise Japanese voices. Rage at me all you want, I HATE them. Very rarely are they interesting, like say, Bison in SF4. They're mostly tolerable in TvC, which is good, because there aren't any English voices in that game. But if I have the option to use English voices in a game, I'm taking it.

There you have it, there's another Darkstalker character from that Franchise. Hsien-Ko is not a Darkstalker, but a Darkhunter that hunts Darkstalkers, that character has been the most rumored in the game, but still no guarantees. I would guess if there's one more for DLC, it would be Dononvan. But more than likely Hsien-Ko it looks like Hsien-Ko is in.
Here my clues. 1. Niitsuma did say on here Eventhubs if translated right, "no more DS characters beyond Felicia and Morrigan." By him saying that, it should of been easy for Seth to say there are NO more DS characters beyond Felicia and Morrigan. Seth Not saying nothing, actually hints more that there's another one in, when it was said that there would be no more. If there's no more period, for him to say nothing,Seth is pretty much playing games with people.

When did "WE" learn she was going to be DLC? Shouldn't DLC based achievements roll out AFTER the DLC is available?

As for "mark_morrison", yes it's all about Sexy sexyness with Darkstalkes. That's Why MVC2 had that sexy, sexual sexbomb od Sex proportions: Anakaris.

On a more serious note, Nitsume seems to like the Darkstalkers, and a character from a precious game is obviously an easier sell, especially one that doesn't demand that much retooling for 34. BBH? In 3d? With all those huge hunters popping out, and a little Dog? Or Donovan, who generates huge ghastly images for attacks. I'll give you Talbain, though.

Still, it's not like there was an outpour of demand for Felicia, not like I've seen for Captain Commando or Jin. I'm guessing Jin's Sexy clothesplosion is clouding people to the fact Jin is from a Japan only mech game, huh? They put Felicia because THEY WANTED to put Felicia. Not because there was demand. So there, the moment to deal with it is at hand.

I'm happy there was a segment for Felicia, I'm planning on using her. She was my 2nd main in Vampire Savior, and a big part of my MvC2 team, and I can agree that she's the best she's EVER been in MvC3 JUST off gameplay videos alone.

And no, I don't pick her for sex appeal, nor to satisfy any fetish, but because she's a great UNIQUE character I enjoy playing as, which is exactly what this game is going for, diversity between characters.

Some characters show up for sex appeal some for cool factor. There's not really a difference you like a character by looks instead of gameplay tends to equal to the same thing.

Also, with Felicia having her Dark Force hyper in MvC3, her rushdown increased x10, and she kept her "splash" attack as well...she's going to be great in the right hands.

Picked her up in Vampire Savior by choosing random, and having to fight her before with my main. The look is just an add on that I don't care that much for (I mean really. So, I hope that when MvC3 comes out, a year or two will go by, and all you will be playing these so called "High Tier" gods, a Felicia, Thor, and She-Hulk team will win EVO 2013. I will do something, I don't know. Maybe even enter EVO 2014 and get my butt kicked in Round 1, maybe.

I just gotta feeling the three less picked/liked characters (Right now for SURE) are going to be beasts.

But two coins they are NOT choosing characters solely on popularity. Popularity is only one of a variety of factors. Gameplay reasons, promotional reasons and how liked is the character by the devs. Nitsuma said the plan was to have mostly newer characters from after 2000 for Capcom, but since it was terribly unbalanced in which types of characters are in(because they had to balance the Marvel side, as well) , he added more females. Specifically, I think he said more Darkstalkers.See, it's not throwing Felicia for sex apeal. It's throwing in Felicia because Marvel's gonna end up having 3-4 females in a 30 strong roster, and while you don't care, they do. So, there.

Plus, I don't see how liking characters because of sex appeal in a fighting game is wrong vs liking a character because he's "cool" or you read/played all his comics/games as a kid or because you just plain like him. There's many reasons to want a character. For some people Phoenix Wright would be a terrible, ridiculous choice, but for me it's be a fun, ridiculous choice, much like M.O.D.O.K, or Tron or Jin.

Plus, the implication that every Felicia fan is hot for some cat ass is downright creepy when you see all the fandom this game drew for other franchises. Are you implying everyone who wants X wants to screw a robot teenager? Are you implying everyone who wants Ghost Rider wants to do it with a skeleton? No? Then kindly stop implying everyone who likes Felicia is morbidly obsessed with her sexuality because that's not always the case. Thank you!

Honsetly, I see nothing worng with sex appeal. I mean we are human after all. Its a foundational (I know its not a proper word) element of attraction. So...you think I pick female characters for ulterior motives? I can understand your argument, as it is quite suggestive, but I can shed some light for your concern.

I do play:
Chun Li and Rose for the SF titles
Morrigan and Felicia for DS
Noel Vermillion and Jin in BlazBlue
Terry and Yuri in KoF
Sub Zero in Mortal Kombat
Kirby and Link in the Smash Bros series
Morrigan and Zero for TvC

So, true, I mostly play female characters in fighting games. One reason why I do is "because" they are different, gameplay-wise, from the rest of the cast and I find myself enjoying how to use them. If Rikuo from DS played like Felicia from the beginning instead, I would be playing as Rikuo. Put that scenario for ANY character I just listed, and I would play them instead of aforementioned characters.

For Lilith, she's SUPPOSED to be the underdeveloped part of Morrigan, rather than being seductive and alluring, she's cheerful and just, simply, too cute for her own good.

As claiming that I like anime, the answer is yes, I do. Do I "enjoy" anime girls? Yes, but not in the way that you are "suggesting" that I "enjoy them". My first anime was DBZ, hardly any estrogen-spewing material. My favorite series is Rurouni Kenshin, again, not female oriented.

I do not pick characters in a fighting game based on their "appeal", just on how they actually fight. I don't play Ryu or shotos simply because they are boring, but find myself playing Sakura and Gouken because they're different from Ryu/Ken/Akuma. I play DeeJay and Dictator at times because they are similar to how Chun-Li works and I can work with them fine. I play Rose because she is really unique, being able to play nice with fireball characters, confuse the opponent and keep them second guessing their next move, I love it.

I play Morrigan in Vampire Savior because she can be very simple, yet complex, with her crazy EX button combinations and mix-ups, and I like that. With Lilith being similar to her, I use her sometimes to mix it up.

I play Zero in TvC because I'm a HUGE MMX fan, especially X4, so it's no wonder why I would pick and learn to use him. So, before anyone goes and says "Oh, another Zero scrub", I can actually say I've been waiting for the original Zero to appear in a VS title. MMZ Zero appeared in SvC Chaos and Onimusha Blade Warriors, I was just waiting for Capcom to surprise the old fans of Megaman X.

I hope that clears some things up, and for anyone who might be wondering:
No, I don't spend my free time looking up hentai of the people I play as in video games. I will not say that it has not happened before, but I kinda hit puberty a long time ago, I can control myself.

Felicia will suck in this game. Bottom-tier for sure. "Roll tier" will now be called "Felicia-tier."

Also, adding Felicia for whatever reason CAPCOM has decided, that's what we're going to have to deal with. Some are happy, some are sad, that's how it goes. I, for one, am part of those whom are happy for that decision. For those who just assume that she was added for the sole reason of "Sex appeal" are those who have little to no experience OF that character, nor how popular she is FOR the Darkstalker franchise. If Marvel approved of every male character being turned into Females for Dimitri's EX Midnight Bliss, I'm sure we would have had him in MvC3. I'm sure if both parties agreed to have excessive blood and bump the game's rating to "M" JUST for Jedah, we would have him. Look at the other reasons for including certain characters before you jump to conclusions.

I agree with you, but Dimitri isn't really himself without that EX move. He was in SvC Chaos and even *SNK* allowed it to be in, making every male turn into a female for that move. I guess Marvel is afraid to "vandalize" their well-known superheroes for a game. Which is entirely understandable, don't get me wrong, some fans would rage to see a female captain america.

As for Morrigan, she's kinda the poster-girl for DarkStalkers now, Dimitri lost popularity fast...
